“Bot recommanded”
We were disappointed with this hotel. The services provided are vert limited : breakfast (you havé to choose 2 items and nô one mire!), the business center is not freely accessible, ... It was the first time I choose Shilo Inn. I do not plan to choose again this brand in the future.
“Sure I'll go back”
I am very satisfaied with the Hotel, the personel are very kind, I have no problems at all, very clean, I attend a Convention at the Convention Center, then the location of the hotel it's the best I just have to cross the street.
“Shilo-Salt Lake”
Excellent price for what you are getting. Excellent location, includes breakfast. The room was clear, big and with a view of the main street. The hotel is old, but is in good condition.
“I'll pass next time”
Hotel was fine. Not great. Not terrible. The service was poor. Clearly I was bothering the front desk employee when he had to stop talking to co-workers to check me in. I was handed a key with a sticky note with my room number on it. Unprofessional reflection of the Shilo brand.
“great place to stay while attending Salt Palace event”
What a great place to stay in downtown Salt Lake City, especially if your attending an event at the Salt Palace. The convention center is huge; the entrance is right across from the Shilo Inn. The breakfast included in your stay is a SIT DOWN AND SERVED BY WAIT STAFF meal and the restaurant staff are a delight! The hamburgers served in the restaurant and bar/grill are THE BEST!! There is always fast & friendly service at a great price, something that is difficult to find when you're downtown without a car attending a convention. The hotel is great but Krewson's restaurant & bar/grill onsite makes it an excellent place to stay!!
“The Saly Lake Shilo Shines Big!”
I searched out this hotel originally for its location to the Salt Palace, I was so surprised to find this awesome facility in a downtown area. I will definitely reserve this hotel for my convention next year! Superb facility and staff!
“worse experince!”
I spent one night there, the cashier was unprofessional and not friendly at all, actually she was races and she didn't like us from the beginning, i tried to be nice to her and appologiez for nothing just to be nice be she still stupid, I didn't enjoy the hotel because of her because she didn't help me with anything, she didn't even smile!!!! also they charge us more for nothing!!!!
“Great hotel”
Great room, great service, nice people. Located right in the downtown of Salt Lake City. Can't be better. Million stars if possible to rate.
“Nice For The Price”
We chose the Shiloh Inn for its proximity to the Capitol Theater (1/2 block), where we had tickets to see Les Miserable. We were given a wheelchair accesible room, for some reason, which meant it was very spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the room was immaculate, although there was a sort of unpleasant odor (almost like sweat). We had to let the shower run for literally 10 minutes to get hot water. The floor indicator lights in the elevators didn't work, so we were never sure what floor we had stopped at. However the desk personnel were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again if I was attending the theater. The convenient location for that can't be beat for the price we paid.
“Awesome value for mid-grade hotel.”
Great location. Full breakfast at a cafe (not just "free coffee and muffins" style) but eggs, hash browns, bacon, juice, biscuit. Room is clean and smells good despite the building's age. Full indoor pool and hottub. The only negative is the cheap, non-down pillows (but an otherwise comfy bed) gave me a headache. I'd still recommend the Shilo though.
