“Awesome. Great room, great service!”

I thought it was great. My wife and I needed a night away and it made for an awesome night at a good price that allowed us to be close to everything we were going to do the next day. Great staff, great everything! Thanks!

“We'll be back... Probably next year!”

We have stayed in this hotel many times, and it has become a tradition to stay during the Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel is beautiful, the views are nice from the tower rooms, and the thanksgiving buffet is wonderful. We had a problem with the heating system. It kept our room too warm, and nothing we did made the temp go down. We have had minor issues with heating when we stayed before, and the hotel was quick to fix it for us. This time the weather was very warm for november, and we just opened the window and turned off the fan. We were a bit annoyed by the noise the other guests were making in the hall. We even had kids we didn't know mistaking our room for their family's. There are many large groups who stay there during that holiday, and perhaps it's not the best time for peace and quiet. However, we love staying there for thanksgiving and will do it again.

“Great Place to Stay”

We ended up at this hotel after finding nearly all of the other surrounding hotels were booked for the days we planned to stay. The reviews were good so we went ahead and booked a room. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival to find how much more upscale the establishment was than what we expected. We had a courtside room, which was very nice. Due to other plans we did not eat dinner at the steakhouse restaurant, however we had breakfast each morning at the coffee shop restaurant and found the food to be excellent. The service was great and the location is convenient to downtown. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed for the money. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Salt Lake City.

“Great location and facility”

We stayed 8 nights and loved it. The room had plenty of room with 2 Queen beds, huge TV, 2 stuffed chairs, lots of closet space, large bathroom, etc. We loved the Little America quick breakfasts and conveniences. We loved getting in quickly from the I-15 and I-80 freeways. We enjoyed the selection of free channels, local and national. We loved getting the morning paper each day. We had a slight problem with bathtub not draining, but they showed up within minutes to fix it. Our only complaint was no access to a microwave to cook popcorn or reheat leftovers. There was a mini-fridge and hot drink maker. Beautiful, charming, good enough to invite friends in to visit. I did think the internet fee per minute and to print a page was excessive, but that was because I did not bring my own laptop with me, so the cost was worth it. Yes, I would do it again

Area recommendations

The Temple Square area was beautiful and informative. So much to see and do, and all of it free. We got to attend the Sunday morning broadcast of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and it was very impressive, as was our tour of the huge new Convention Center that can seat 21,000 yet has no poles or center supports to restrict the view of whatever is being presented. There was no pressure to donate any money or time for anything and you are made to feel special by the personal tour guides and various presentations. Next time, I will save more time for the downtown Salt Lake City area, rather than spending so much time away touring other areas.

“Great example of what a business traveller wants to see in a Hotel”

Fanrtastic room size and layout, fast Internet and great service from all staff that I encountered. My grumbles are a shower that was only working, subjectively, 80%. One room servcie meal, after being given a choice of Chips, Baked or mashed Potato arrived with no Potato. I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel as great vaue for money.

“Very Nice Hotel for the Price”

I only stayed here one night on a business trip, but I was impressed with this hotel. For a price much less than what I would have paid elsewhere, I received a clean, comfortable room with nice amenities. The service was very good, from the front desk to room service. I would certainly return here, as I plan to do when I return on business, or if I return with my family. An airport shuttle would have been nice, but that's the way it goes.
