While the room itself looked nice and updated and the staff was friendly, we had a horrible experience. It started with the fact the the elevator did not work, which really wasn't that big of a deal for us but then...the pool and hot tub were both closed! We had been hiking for 5 days...that's why I booked here - hot tub? YES, please! And THEN...the TV did not work. We went to the front desk and reported that we could not find the remote. Turns out we did not have a remote because we did not have a cable box, which was expected in the following week. Well that's not helpful when trying to watch March Madness. I asked for another room but they said they were "almost booked"...then "booked". While I realize none of these issues were the fault of the staff, they were not apologetic about any of it. I did like the coffee machine at breakfast and it was a short drive to the airport.

Good place to stay
affordable, convenient and ideal location for our trip. When breakfast ran out of something, they replenished it quickly. Person cleaning up the dining area very responsive. They change the breakfast items depending on the day of the week. One day it is eggs and sausage along with the standard fare of self cook waffles, fruit, OJ, milk, etc and eggs and bacon the next day. BTW, the scrambled eggs were surprising good. Coffee machine in dining room does coffee drinks of all kinds; lattes, hotchocolaate, cPlan to stay there on way back through SLC.

The outside lighting in front is blinding when you’re coming from South to North to turn into the driveway at night. The staff was nice. Linens were clean, carpet in hallways were filthy, elevator door don’t work, nor the side door on west side to come in. The pool was superfluous cleaned, it had a greenish yellow color, my grand children swam in it, and one got sick too his stomach. The spa was empty, and should be hurried, or filled. We had to lay on the bed to watch T.V. Because of the place it was fixed to the wall. We stayed here when it was the Laquinta, but since new owners have taken over, it’s gone to hell in a hand basket. We will never stay here again.

Was just an average stay, nothing amazing. The room could’ve been cleaner, and more attention to details, like room towels. But overall the room served its purpose, I needed a place to sleep and that’s what I did. It would’ve been wonderful if the pool and hot tub were working but I guess you get what you pay for right? I just need a place to sleep and that’s exactly what I got, so I gave it a 2/5, average in my mind. So if you just want to sleep then this is okay, if you expect more than pay more for a better room.
