The bathroom and shower in my room wasn’t working properly. The bathroom wouldn’t flush and it’ll take a whole day before getting fixed. The shower was also clogged and would fill up while you’re showering.

The halls had stuff up and down and had an odd smell. We walked in and found a wet towel from the previous occupants in the closet. The pool looked old and dirty around the edges.

We called before we arrived multiple times no one answered when we arrived the receptions greeted us and told us to wait we waited while she sat and stared at her computer for about 5 min then finally said how can I help . She was sitting and not very motivated to help. When we arrived to our rooms (we got two) one smelled liked pee the other like smoke. The rooms were very dirty. When we turned the shower on the water came out dirty for the first few seconds. This was a horrible experience. Worse hotel we have ever stayed at.

Close to Midvale Bus Station. Convenient for taking the bus to ski resorts. Lots of homeless and drug addicts living in and around the hotel. Very dirty. Okay breakfast, great coffee. Great bed.

There were hookers and drunks roaming around and vomit in the hallway. The room was filthy and smelled so bad we felt sick to our stomachs and we were so afraid that we could not sleep. This place was the worst dump ever! DO NOT Under any Circumstances Stay Here!!!!!! HORRIBLE

It's a very run down area for one. The doors in the suite to separate the king bed from the couch area don't even work, and the sheer curtain is about to fall off the door. The room smells like cigarettes and is no good for a family who have members with asthma. The hallways also smell like wet dogs. It's not a good crowd that wanders the area either. Very ghetto location. The room is also not very clean! The desk chair is gross and same with the pullout bed on the couch. The mattress is absolutely disgusting, and I feel very bad about putting my children on that mattress... also the sink in the bathroom smells like some one pooped in it. The guy at the desk didn't to care much about our needs either, when asked for a blanket for the sofa bed, he said no more and we got what we got what he had! I also lost my wedding ring there, it was on the nightstand i forgot it, but the room had been cleaned and pretty sure someone pocketed it! The manager at the front i the morning seemd ok at first and gave us a credit for our awful night stay, but then when i returned looking for my ring that has gone missing, she wouldn't even make contact with me! Very disgusting hotel! Oh the pool and hot tub is a joke too! First you have to go outside to get to it. The water in the pool was so cold that it wasn't usable and the lighting is so dark after the sun went down that anything could have happened! And so much chlorine that i still smell like it! I really hope i didn't catch any diseases!

After checking in we got to our room and walked right back out and checked out. There was puke in the hallway leading up to our door, our room was DISGUSTING. Left over hair on the counter & floor of the bathroom, coffee table smeared with something and not clean, dirty linen on both beds, night stand had dried stuff dripping down it unwiped, the doors and walls were so dirty and the whole place hadn’t been vacuumed or swept at all. Never staying at a La Quinta ever again.

We just checked out of this property promptly after checking in. It was by far one of the most disgusting hotels I’ve ever checked into. The area was rough, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. The first step into the back door and the carpets looked horrible and were visibly filthy. On top of that, the hotel smelled like marijuana. The bathroom in our hotel room was covered in hair balls, there was no toilet paper and there was tinfoil behind the door of the bathroom consistent with drug use. When I went downstairs to check out the smells of dog and cat were foul. I was absolutely shocked that this property was able to have the LaQuinta branding. I am generally a fan of their properties but this one changed my mind. We had to haul our two tiny kids out at 10 o’clock at night because the property was so foul. There was duct tape patching holes in the walls in the hall as well. I’m very concerned that this property is allowed to carry LaQuinta branding.

I wasn’t expecting a five star hotel, but I did not expect what we got. Upon arrival at 3:15 (3:00 check in time) we checked in with (the only thing nice about the stay) nice office desk ladies. Our room was not ready, in order for them to communicate to housekeeping they had to use a translate app. Which took awhile. We sat for about a half hour waiting. We parked by the door closest to the room, we wondered why some of the bottom room windows were boarded up. Later while leaving we say people crawling in the windows on the bottom floor. Obviously the reason for the other boarded up windows. The SMELL WAS SO BAD! Hard to breathe. We had no place else to go, myself and four kids. The room was lightly picked up and clean sheets (thank god) but no real cleaning had been done. I went to Walmart and sanitized what I could. We were kicked out of the hot tub (the pool was nasty) 20 min before they closed. Also had them banging on the door for us to leave while we were packing at 10:40 and a call as we were walking out at 10:50 asking us why we were still there . Check out was 11:00. People smoking at the bottom doors inside the building although it says no smoking everywhere. Saw hypodermic needles in the parking lot as we left. This was more like a 30$ stay . This is only half of what we witnessed while staying.

There’s a homeless man sleeping in the hallway of the back stairs at the door D of the property. Lots of dog poo at the parking gravel area at the back of the hotel.

This place was dirty & the halls are beyond dark. Scary dark. There’s homeless all around the building. The room we got was covered in hair & food. It looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The longer i sat in there the longer i realized how unsanitary & safe i felt & didn’t want my kids staying there. We opted for a refund & went somewhere else. The gentlemen at the front desk was helpful.

Homeless and people on drugs all around property. Staff is inconsiderate and incompetent. Was turned away when I tried to check in at 1:30 even though my reservation said I was able to check in 2 hours early. When I returned at 3pm I and a lobby full of people waited for the afternoon person who was late to show up. He proceeded to collect ids of people he checked in and said we would have to wait to get them returned. After 2 hours I was finally able to get my id back. My room looked like a crack house the bathroom door was broken and there were cigarette burns all over the dirt tinged tub. There was trash on the floor next to the beds. The entire hotels smells of weed and cigarettes. The indoor pool is disgusting and in a building outside of the hotel. We actually passed a prostitute in the hallway. People were loud and banging around in the hallway all night long. This is not a good place to bring your kids.

We needed a place to stay out of town and this place had a great price. The location is not the best but I never felt unsafe. The staff was always nice, some of the customers were different. We would stay again for sure. The room was large and it was quiet at night. We have a toddler and she would walk the halls with us and we felt comfortable letting her do so.

I’d give this staff 5 star rating but I feel so bad for them because they don’t understand what I am saying. I stayed here before a few times and usually it was ok considering the price. This time we stayed in a dirty room that made me and my kids unsafe. Shower tub had cigarette bits burned into the tub. Room smelled from weed and we had to put something under the floor so the weed wouldn’t smell even more. There was dogs barking all night and we had to put those sleeping sounds on YouTube so we can fall a sleep. Absolutely horrible experience!

The hotel snelled like wet dog, weed and smoke. It just smelled dirty all around. No one came to service our room during our stay so we never got fresh towels or our bed made or our trash taken out. The toilet wouldnt flush properly and the power outlets by the sink and bathroom didnt even work. It was ridiculous and i’m so glad i didnt have my kids on this trip. Very poor place to stay.

Check in process was accommodating. The room smelled like old cigarettes. TV and Phone did not work. Bathroom not fully cleaned....last customers bar soap and shampoo was still in the shower. Jacuzzi luke warm, hookers and crackheads around the property (one was told to leave by staff this morning while we were checking out).

Do not stay here. It’s cheap for a reason. Showed up at check in time and they didn’t even have our room ready, and we were in a rush so we didn’t get back until later that day to check in. We reserved a king sized bedroom, and they told us at check in that they were filled up on those, so my wife and I had to sleep on a full size bed. The hotel itself is disgusting, smells bad, the carpets are all ripped up in the halls, and there is a constant presence of homeless people hanging out in and out of the hotel. Smells like marijuana. The rooms are gross, bathrooms are grimy and moldy, beds are hard, and the door into the room doesn’t block any noise, so whenever someone talks out in the hall, it sounds like they are in your room. It’s definitely obvious that this area is a drug hotspot. We saw multiple people nodding out on drugs, probably fentanyl, including two people in the car next to us when we left. We would’ve went to a different hotel but we had work that night so we had to stay. We left early and they did refund most of the night we stayed and the full amount of the next night since we left early, along with the 50$ security deposit. Staff was actually understanding and empathetic, especially Dana at the front desk. Although the staff are nice, it’s just not worth it. Very unsafe, not family friendly at all.

Booked for 2 nights, got there and the place reeked of smoke. Floors were absolutely disgusting. Bathtub was dirty as well as sink area. Trash all over floors in halls. Brown/reddish stains on sheets/blankets. Pool house was not ventilated well if at all. Overall just felt gross and unsafe. Checked out early and went to a different establishment.
