Staff were good. Room was ok but included breakfast needs some improvement.

Basic but clean.

Posted 19-Aug-2014
I had read a few reviews, so I wasn't hoping for much. I was happy to see that the rooms were clean. No problems there. Staff was friendly, and accommodating. The decor was dated. The breakfast was not good. The food was cheap, with terrible fruit, bread and a few muffins, which were not great. There was a waffle maker, which was good. The coffee wasn't great either. We only were there once for breakfast, we went elsewhere every other day. We were there for Roots and Blues and it was much better than a tent!

Under construction and no elevators

Posted 30-Jul-2014
Major construction was underway in front lobby and kitchen areas. No elevators were present or likely to be built.

Basic hotel

Posted 20-Jul-2014
Clean, comfy beds, nice air conditioning, close to grocery store and highway. Good for overnight stop. Nothing fancy. On far edge of town on highway.

Posted 12-Jul-2014
Pros: Very quiet eventhough is is close to the hightway
Cons: An elevator
Location: a short drive to downtown. lots of restaurantsand pleasant surroundings
The lobby was under construction for the breakfast cafe but everything was very clean and the staff very helpful. It is only missing an elevator.

OK for a place to put your head down

Posted 01-Jul-2014
Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: Outside building condition, coffee and breakfast, televisions.
Location: Pretty good pub directly behind the hotel.
Was disappointed when we first arrived. Looks old, not cared for and under construction. Rooms are ok if your just putting your head down for a night but no longer. Breakfast is very plain. For the price we'd say it's not worth it. When you book through an intermediate, they will take a $200 dollar deposit on your card. Spend a few dollars more and try elsewhere.

Easy to find

Posted 25-Jun-2014
Pros: Location and close to a decent restaurant where they gave us a 10% discount for staying at the super 8
Cons: It will be better once the construction is done. Their breakfast room will be a lot better. Hopefully they could have more comfortable beds
Location: We were only in Salmon Arm for a funeral and had to return to Alberta right after.
The hotel was having construction done while we were there. It did not really affect us but the lobby & breakfast were definitely not up to super 8 standards. We found the bed very hard and both had sore backs in the morning. A complaint I do have is that I thought booking through you got us the best price. If I had booked directly with them the price was less and we would not have to give them a $200.00 deposit. I think this is the last time I will ever book through you.

Awful

Only one lamp for the entire room for light. One pillow. Couldn't check in early.

Not much to say, it's cheap and you get what you pay for.
