Great for the team

Posted 19-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
In Salmon Arm for a basketball tournament - this was a great motel for the team. They were very accomodating with a late check out, rooms were spacious enough for 4 teenage boys. Decor was dated and a bit sparse, but it was clean and everything worked well. Basic breakfast including waffles, toast and cereals, which suited our team just fine. Tim Horton's, Subway, and Home Restaurant within walking distance. I would stay here again for a similar purpose.

Super 8 Salmon Arm

Hotel room was sparsely furnished but clean. Room was noisy both from upstairs and traffic. TV was old and audio did not work as it should. Price was good but other than friendly staff that was all that was good. We probably will not stay again. I guess you get what you pay for.Super

Basic but clean.

Posted 19-Aug-2014
I had read a few reviews, so I wasn't hoping for much. I was happy to see that the rooms were clean. No problems there. Staff was friendly, and accommodating. The decor was dated. The breakfast was not good. The food was cheap, with terrible fruit, bread and a few muffins, which were not great. There was a waffle maker, which was good. The coffee wasn't great either. We only were there once for breakfast, we went elsewhere every other day. We were there for Roots and Blues and it was much better than a tent!

Expensive for a 2-3 star, but maybe its fair for that place in Canada. Im not calibrated for that. It would be less than $100 in US. I thought it was pretty good compared to many super 8's in all except price.
