“Will definitely stay here again!”
Lovely hotel in a great location. Parking great, reception very helpful, great breakfast and nice clean rooms! What more can you want!
“Very enjoyable stay.”
Clean and comfy room - particularly the bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.
“This hotel needs help!”
No ice machines, no ice buckets, no vending machines, lack of informational skills. No pharmacies, grocery stores, you have to portage downtown to mail a letter, The mall has no post office, the entire country has a screw loose!!!!! But the people are nice, and there is no shortage of pubs in the neighborhood.
“Good location, easy tram links, modern hotel, caring staff.”
Bearing the Ramada name I had high expectations, I was not disappointed. Modern hotel, close to The Lowry Outlets, Lowry and Old Trafford. I stayed at the weekend to watch Crawley Town v Man Utd, partook of the after match buffet, which for £15 was good value. Same with the breakfast not fantastic but value for money. The service in the restaurant was excellent and as a single lady traveller I was made to feel welcome and not ignored as if often the case. Bedroom was well furnished, bed most comfortable and my room had a view across the quays. The tram stop was outside the hotel so made it very easy to get down town to shop then catch the train home. Thank you Ramada would certainly consider staying here again.
“Hidden gem by the quays”
Not much to look at from the outside, but inside is plush and rooms very comfortable and stylish. Room had leather 2-seater sofa and footrest by the window for those quiet moments watching TV or reading. Staff were very efficient and friendly and menu choises good. Just over the road from Salford Quays tram, so a quick hop from the train station and access to the rest of the tram network for trips out. Once over the road, you are in the quays, with a lovely walk up to the Lowry and War Museum.
“Highly recommended”
Hotel is situated in a very convenient location, literally less than a 5 minute walk from the nearest Metrolink stop - also offers good parking on site. Hotel reception/bar is very modern and well kept, staff are friendly and very helpful on arrival. Rooms are good, spacious and fitted out to a modern decoration. All good really, would recommend this hotel to others wanting to stay in the Manchester area as its well situated.
“Surprising value for money”
At the discounted rate I'd expected something basic but was impressed by the quality of facilities and service. As others have remarked, car parking at the hotel is limited, and the nearest alternative is a long walk. Excellent breakfast. If Salford Quays are your destination (the Lowry complex is excellent for culture vultures), this is a good option.
“Very good, quiet, hotel to stay at.”
This hotel is situated just across from the Salford Quays Metro stop, so easily accessible from the city centre. We chose this becasue it was a midway point to where we were going the next day, so was handy for us, but seems to be away from entertainment (other than a couple of restaurants and a pub opposite). On the upside of that is that it is quiet for a good nights sleep! Lovely products in the bathroom and plenty of tea and coffee products made it homely. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, restaurant and bar. Overall a very good hotel to stay at. No problems.
“Prima Hotel”
Hotel zelf was goed.
“Ramada Manchester a good place to stay”
Good experience. I suggest the hotel for both work and holiday.
