“worked out great for us to go to the Waterpark and Museum”

The hotel was clean, comfortable and located close to the attractions we were going to. Breakfast was not great, some of food was still frozen

“Not too far from Linfield College”

The place was not the greatest but the front desk was super nice. Had an incident with a room key and was immediately given a 20% off the room and an appology.

“You can't go wrong with Red Lion”

We love McMinnville and this was our second time visiting. This time, we were traveling with our dog and so required a pet friendly hotel. We had been traveling for three weeks and this was by far the most convenient hotel for us in terms of looking after the dog - short and easy access to the rooms, very quiet, a grassy field nearby. The location is a short distance from "downtown", about a 4 minute drive.

Dining

One of the best dining spots in McMinnville is Nick's Grill. You will need to make a reservation.

“Big Planes + Big Macs = Kids' Paradise!”

The folks were very hospitable, McDonalds was literally outside the door at the end of the hall for that 9:00 Big Mac Attack after the kids got out of the pool, and the Air & Space Museum was a stone's throw away. A very nice, convenient experience.

Area recommendations

The Evergreen Air & Space Museum with the IMAX theater was the purpose of our trip. We will return in June/July when they open the new water park.

traveled by meself. didn't have to worry about being bother. very relaxing. rooms were very cleaned and nicely displayed. Mcdonald was on the same lot. hotel was very easy to find. and lots of free parking.

“A Place to Enjoy!”

The Red Lion in McMinnville, Oregon, was a great place. We stayed there for six nights because we were visiting family who had limited space available in their home. All the employees of the Red Lion were great and helped us with anything that we asked of them. The breakfast was listed as a Continental Breakfast, but had many more items from which to choose. The swimming pool and spa were neatly kept. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large. Should we ever have the opportunity to visit there again, we will stay at this Inn.

Traveller's tip

The Historical Section of McMinnville was a great place to shop and buy a gift for the person you want to impress when you return home. We also ate at a small restaurant on the second floor of a store. The food was delicious!

“NO BREAKFAST”

They advertise a breakfast to be included 6 to 10 am. On Sunday it was closed to any warm food by 9:15. Sorry state of affair for what left to eat!!
