I was only staying overnight but found the Hotel excellent. A bit out from the town center but that didn't bother me. I had hoped the Restaurant would have been open for dinner but being off season it was closed. The check in and reception were excellent and very pleasant and helpful for any requests that I made. Would definitely stay here again.

A fixer upper!

Cons: Everything has opportunity for improvement at the Ibis.
Location: There is a small town with very little to do.
I don't have extremely high standards, but the only place I've ever stayed/lived worse than the Ibis was a Middle Eastern construction camp in the middle of a desert. The motel may have had some renovations in the not too distant past based upon the internet photos on Expedia. However, the room we were provided appeared as thought it had not been updated since the motel was originally built, which I would guess based upon furnishings was in the early 1980's. The only modern touched to the room was a flat screen TV. The appearance of the room was laughable. Even making it a better stay (hopefully you understand sarcasm) was the note posted in the bathroom stating that hot showers needed to be limited to 7 minutes, then allow the hot water system 20 minutes to refill, before being able to shower for another 7 minutes. This same note said this was due to local environmental concerns or some bull crap like that. Hopefully the motel will eventually recognizes that cost cutting and lean management practices shouldn't effect the service they provide to their customers. Pinch pennies somewhere other than with the hot water. If you stay at the Ibis with a family of 4 and you're in a hurry everyone will have to shower together. Otherwise it'll take 108 minutes for the family to get ready.

We had a joining family room. Presentation of room excellent with new d├ęcor, beds very comfortable. Lady at reception very helpful. Motel lawns well looked after and gardens maintained. Motel on the outskirts of town but not a hassle. Rate for motel for family of four / two rooms was excellent. Would stay there again without a doubt.

Superior room equals adjoining rooms

We were happy to get to adjoining room and have plenty of space for the night. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms to get ready in the morning. Breakfast was included though nothing special.

it's pretty much the same as other mid point town motels/hotels. A bit noisy from the road. Ok tv, oldish bed, a bit dated but what else do you expect. Staff were really friendly. Go to Redd Cat in the centre for dinner, good banter & lovely food.
