"Relais 6 Via Tolmino in Rome is an excellent hotel"
Relais 6 Via Tolmino in Rome is an excellent hotel, no exaggeration! We stayed there from Dec 11-13, 2014. And we want to go back there even now. :) It is located in a residential suburb of Rome, near Metro station Agnese/Annibaliano (only 6 min to walk to). Thus we can visit almost all wonderful scenes in Rome by just taking Metro and leisurely walking, including St. Peter's Basilica, Musei Vatican and Sistine Chapel in Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, and Piazza Spagna, among others. The staffs provided extremely impressive and professional service, including detailed tourist assistance. We lived in a clean and neat room, enjoying free and fast Wi-Fi, delicious breakfast and beautiful lobby. Finally, but not of least importance, the price is unbelievably reasonable! Thank you Relais 6 Via Tolmino and staffs. Next time when we go back to Rome, we definitely will live this excellent hotel again!
Tranquil hotel right on Villa Borghese, with a spectacular view of the park and St. Peters. About a 30 minute walk to the center, taxi stand right there if you don't like to walk. Overall lovely staff, great pool for laps, and a nice spa. Elegant, understated room as one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.
We arrived early at the Panama Garden, but were welcomed warmly and given the keys to our room within minutes
The staff were very knowledgeable and able to give us directions to wherever we wished to visit.
The hotel itself is across the road from a beautiful park and has a very relaxing.feel to it.. Breakfast was included and was more than adequate to set us up for a day of exploring.
The deceptive look of the outside of the accommodation may cause concern, but there is no need to worry. The rooms are comfortable and fitted to a very good standard, with queen size beds and double showers.
The best aspect of the stay was the helpfulness and friendliness of Damian and his team, who could never do enough for us with either service or knowledge of what to do or see.
A real hidden gem was Branca Leone restaurant recommended by Damian, less than a 5 minute walk away it gives you a real taste of traditional Italy with unbelievable home made red wine!

The is a basic hotel, located on the second floor of the building. It is clean and the attendant and her son are most helpful although her English is quite limited. The breakfast is prepackaged items like a roll, jelly, juice box in the room when you check in. That is somewhat offset by a great coffee/espresso/tea/cocoa machine in the lobby.
There are some decent restaurants right in the neighborhood and an easy walk from the hotel and an ATM too.
It was a little further from the station than we expected but convenient to the subway.

"Comfortable stay for unluxurious travellers (by Stella & Dionysis)"
English speaking staff, easy access to/from city centre, clean, comfortable rooms, breakfast served in the room was good (liked the coffee), airconditioned, fridge, charges as agreed, overall satisfied, value for money.
(Do not go to the fast food pizza type of place accross the street, too expensive and low quality. Do try the restaurant accross the street from the hotel. )
