“Exceeded all expectations”

This is a small hotel in a perfect location in quiet Plaza close to all the action. Plaza pavers were being relayed when we arrived and we couldn't access carpark, but hotel staff were most apologetic and upgraded our room and were very helpful and we were always greeted with smiles. Room was spotless. Help yourself breakfast very good. Great recommendations for meals - Casa Paca nearby tapas an absolute must. Loved this beautiful city. We stayed 4 nights and every day was a treat. Go to the evening pottery market. Be sure to go up to the roof of the cathedral - view is stunning and access also takes you high up inside cathedral. Do not miss the Art Deco Museum and the old University buildings. Great people watching in Plaza Mayor near hotel. We have sung the praises of this hotel and Salamanca to anyone who will listen.

“A real gem in Salamanca”

This was our first stay at a hotel in the Room Mate chain, and we were impressed. Smart, comfortable, friendly, and a great location. The only problem was outside the hotel's control - there was extensive road work taking place immediately around the hotel, making access difficult - would be impossible to reach the hotel in a wheelchair at present for instance (uneven surfaces and temporary ramps involved). Also the lift was out of action for a few hours one morning. We had the breakfast buffet one day and it was excellent, worth the money (it is not an inclusive price). There is free wifi, and a laptop available on the ground floor for guests to use free of charge. The location is excellent, very close to the Plaza Mayor. The hotel is sufficiently central to make it worthwhile popping back several times during the day if necessary.

Beautiful small hotel. Great location (within 2 blocks of the Plaza Mayor and all tourist sites), yet off the main paths so more quiet at night. Very clean. Smallish rooms. If you do not smoke make sure you request a non smoking one. Great value. Within walking distance of the train station (10 minutes).

L'hotel est super et très bien placé pour le tourisme à pied mais sur une place en travaux. L'accès est difficile et le lieu un peu bruyant. mais ça ne devrait pas durer bien longtemps... (sejour d'avril 2011) A conseiller donc, mais à partir de juin.

C'est très agréable de découvrir Salamanca de jour comme de nuit en plein été à partir d'un Hotel impeccable où efficacité, amabilité et convivialité sont remarquables.

Hôtel très agréable et bien tenu en plein centre ville.La réceptionniste essaie de parler français. Mais ne compez pas sur le parking de l'hôtel si vous avez une grande voiture!
