“Quality accommodation”

Very pleased with the standard of the hotel and the staff. Only the location - few miles from the city centre - is a disadvantage but there is a reliable bus service. There is also a very convenient shopping complex adjacent to the hotel which can be very handy at times.

Area recommendations
The city centre has most of the main tourist attractions - all within reasonable walking distance of each other.

“SALAMANCA SHORT STAY”

GOOD COMFORTABLE 4* HOTEL. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND QUIET. VERY WECOMING AND HELPFUL RECEPTION STAFF BUFFET BREAKFAST WAS GOOD AND PLENTIFUL ALTHOUGH THE HOTEL IS NOT IN THE HISTORIC CENTRE THERE IS A . CONVENIENT BUS TO THE CITY CENTRE JUST A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY AND THIS STOPS JUST OUTSIDE THE HOTEL. THERE IS A FREE ON SITE CAR PARK OR SECURE GARAGE PARKING WITH A SMALL CHARGE. THE COMMERCIAL SHOPPING CENTRE IS NEARBY. WE ENJOYED OUR SHORT STAY.

THIS HOTEL WAS IN A SUITABLE AREA FOR US AS WE WERE TRAVELLING WITH A CAR AND IT WAS ON A ROAD WITH EASY ACCESS AND PARKING. IF WE WERE TO EXPLORE MORE OF THE CITY WE MIGHT CONSIDER A CITY CENTRE HOTEL BUT IT WAS A CITY WHICH WAS PEDESTRIANISED WITH COBBLED STREETS AND WAS MORE SUITED TO WALKING.

“very smart hotel shame 15 minute walk from town but very regular bus service would use bus next time”

this hotel is well appointed and although we staighed on two seperate nights we were made welcome the hotel is situated in an easy to find location approximately 15 minute from the town centre of santalina which is steeped in history with plenty of cafes to choose from parliment square is an ideal spot to have a coffe and people watch be aware there are some profesional beggers here,the walk from the hotel is pleasant but if you don,t feel like walking the bus stop is just across the raod and they run every ten minutes the hotel reception are very helpfull and hand out a map of santalina with interesting places to visit although we never sampled the food I would recomend this hotel

“Far from the centre”

Very helpful reception but the room was relatively small for 3 persons and the town centre was a bit far. ( Bus was neede and after a night out was a little bit of a hassle. Good value though and Salamance was great.

“An excellent value when in Salamanca Spain.”

Excellent hotel. Great location. Very clean.The beds were very comfortable.The staff were extremely professional, courteous, and polite.

Traveller's tip
Only a short 5 euro cab ride to the Plaza Major.Taxi service is very good too.

“Horus Salamanca”

Hôtel situé assez près du centre, 15 minutes a peid ce qui ce fais très bien sinon le bus passe devant l'hôtel. La chambre était spacieuse et propre et l'acceuil chaleureux. Le parking gratuit à l'extérieur et payant 6,5 dans le sous-terrain. Situé à côté d'un centre commerciale. J'y retournerais.

“Hôtel HORUS : bon hôtel, bien placé”

Hôtel bien situé, en proximité d'un arrêt de bus, avec passages fréquents. Excellent buffet, et restaurant.

“horus salamanca”

excellent hôtel.chambre très correcte et petit déjeuner très copieux. bus très pratique devant l'hôtel , pour le centre ville. peu de place pour votre voiture en dehors du parking souterrrain de l'hôtel (prix raisonnable) comme souvent dans cette région, personne ne parle français attention au GPS ...vous n'êtes pas à salamanque mais à santa marta de tormès...
