We reached at 11 am.Got room at 11-05 am with broad smile from the staff.Very big room with balcony!Superb view.Room heaters in perfect condition,Air-cooler is also there.Spacious nice cupboards,minibar with good stock,good bathroom with tub and essentials.Numerous good restaurants in one minute walking distance.CITY MALL at stone's throw distance.Tram,metro,taxi at doorstep.Very helpful staff who explained me how to go about in BRUSSELS in details,that too multiple times.Balcony has a nice view,remember we are at the heart of Brussels.Nice breakfast,not very large spread but sufficient.Restaurant KOM KOM remains closed on weekend but very nice.Had seen many reviews that staff do not speak English,but found everyone speaks fluent English not only at the hotel,but everywhere in Belgium.
OLD FASHIONED GREAT HOTEL TO STAY.
We really had a great comfortable stay and definitely stay there again.
The rooms were lovely. We booked six rooms for a party of ten.
Five of the rooms were fabulous, the other was good but had no balcony and the person in that room couldn't open his window because the vent for the kitchen fans was right outside. This was noisy and smelly. Overall good for our party though.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was great.
The room was great and very spacious with a large bathroom. The only downside was lack of a/c. It got a little warm in the evenings. They had the windows open for ventilation, but they didn't open very far to get a decent breeze. About a 15 minute walk from the Grande Place.
great apartemnt for myself, husband and 2 teenage children. Pull-out beds of good quality. Everything you needed was in the kitchen. Breakfast can be taken in the hotel restaurant if preferred. Hotel was near a lot of restaurants, shops and a few tourist attractions.
