"Lovely hotel.Great surroundings and friendly staff"
Great hotel. Beautiful country surroundings with lake and great views from room. Indoor pool was great and completely empty which was even better but a bit cold! Hotel and restaurant staff were lovely and willing to help! Restaurant food was amazing but quite expensive and there were only 2 high chairs in whole rest stairway. Overall. We had a lovely enjoyable stay and would definitely go again!!

Very welcoming check-in. The hotel is quietly situated with most rooms in cottages in the grounds of the main house (very short distance across the car park).
The hotel is scrupulously clean and tidy.
Restaurant has very pleasant views over open countryside. Food is excellent both for variety and quality.
We would certainly use it again

The quality of the staff, cleanliness, breakfasts are excellent, and the position in the centre of St Omer outstanding. As we (imtended to say for several nights we wanted to unpack, but there were no drawers for clothes and limited hanging space. Shower, though OK, was "in the bath". Also parking can be a problem
Against these relatively small issues, the manager was very understanding when we had to cut our stay short because of a relatively serious accident I had finished up in St Omer hospital A&E, and allowed us to leave early without penalty

The hotel is in a lovely old building next to the railway station, which is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre. We had a family room in the attic which was ok but there were no windows, just a velux in the roof. It would have been nice to have a view. The room was clean, the bathroom was small and the stairs are steep.
Set in marshland in the northern region of Pas-de-Calais, Saint Omer is a quiet town connected to the English Channel by a long canal. The town is centered around the main square, Place Foch. Dominated by the impressive town hall, the square hosts weekly food markets and an annual flower market in May. Other sites worth visiting include the medieval cathedral and the Sandelin Museum.
