Booked two rooms for two nights but stayed three! Wonderful wonderful wonderful! No restaurant on site but two very lovely restaurants in town only a short walk away. Nice French breakfast for 10€ a person and good coffee. Spent a whole day "castle hunting". House wine put out each evening for sampling. Very clean and large rooms Highly recommend especially after 7 nights in Paris! One note to Americans - the French love their bathtubs. Most rooms equipped with bathtubs and hand held shower heads not what is considered standard in USA.
"Very good choice with good restaurant & great view"
Very nice staff, great location with view of the chateau from the restaurant room. Garden looked amazing but due to weather couldn't use. Very good restaurant. Nice and friendly staff. Room was nice and comfortable.

"Great base for exploring St emilion and wineries"
Recently restored 17th century chateau with a very accommodating innkeeper. Large rooms, pool, jacuzzi, all nicely furnished. Isabelle (owner/innkeeper) recommended wonderful restaurants and arranged winery tours. Located approximately 10km from St. Emilion on the Dordogne River. Note that the chateau is located just outside a small village, so you will need a personal or rental car to access it.

A wonderful stay on the River Dordogne; river views across to the opposite shore. A fine helpful cheerful staff, both public parking and a private lot. A definite yes for a visit to close by St. Emilion.
This is a great hotel located in the vineyards of a St. Emilion Grand Cru producer. The swimming pool is well located as a sun trap even if the air temperature is cool. Excellent and friendly staff, book a massage at the Spa.
The restaurant does not quite match some nearby restaurants that are outstanding but the food is fresh and well prepared. The wine list is excellent and prices for local wines is very good.
You can walk to St. Emilion but but better to hire a bike from reception, to visit the wineries and restaurants you need a car.
