We stayed here for a long weekend for a friend's surprise 30th Birthday in December 2014. We could not fault this hotel. The location was great. 20 minute walk to town centre and 10 minute walk from nearest train station (via the red light district so take care!) This North Brussels train station was cheap and quick and easy from the airport. There was an excellent supermarket opposite for all those chocolate and beer needs! The staff were helpful, well spoken and friendly. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The step out of the bath was slightly upwards which was a nice plus! Bed was huge and comfortable and no noise from the main road on the top floor. The curtains kept the light out perfectly. The bar and restaurant was cool and tasty and welcoming. We felt safe and secure and are hoping to come back again soon. The trip involved visiting the Christmas Markets in Brussels and Bruges which were so easy to do from Hotel Bloom! We loved the beer food and chocolate the whole weekend. If your staying in Brussels for any reason then book this hotel. We intend to again soon! Loved every minute.
The hotel is located close to the Brussels North train station and only takes about 15 minutes to walk into to the city center (Grand Place area). The staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable.
Hotel perfectly located. In front of big shopping area. 10 minute walk to train station. Everything in walking distance yet not in middle of action so we could enjoy a peaceful evening. Hotel staff very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Room veru spacious.
The Progress hotel is tucked away,near the Sheraton Hotel.Staff were very helpful,and welcoming.The interior was bright and calming.
Nice to have security cards for the doors and lift.
Beautiful room/bathroom.Nice touches included,toiletries,pen and paper,Nepresso coffee machine(most welcome),kettle,and really comfortable bed.
This Hotel is so central-not far to good eating places,and the fab shopping centre.
If,like Sandra,you are on kidney diyalysis,it is near to Clinique St Jean.
Def stay there again.
Great location, next to the city center, great for shopping, for visiting, everything you desire.
Great breakfast, clean room, they even have an ironing room, great staff, very helpful. Definitely go back with pleasure. Strongly recommend it.
The hotel is close to the metro station Rogier which puts it in an ideal location to access most of Brussels. It is a 10 minute walk to the grand place and is ideal. Surrounded by a couple of great restaurants and minutes from small cafés. The room was excellent (it was decorated very green!) however the lift was small and could only take one person and luggage before saying overweight- it must have been the waffles and chocolate! We could only get the wifi to work on one device out of 3, but this did not detract from the experience. Overall, an excellent budget hotel.
The hotel was centrally located and near the metro. The staff was friendly, efficient and spoke many languages. The hotel was modern, clean and very comfy. Very affordable. This hotel makes Brussels an easy and inexpensive destination for me and I would only ever stay there when I return to the city.
