Red Roof Hotel is an excellent hotel to stay at. Their rooms are spacious, very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I loved the decor, and I especially noted that their trash baskets were large, not small, like you see in most hotel rooms. The bathrooms were updated, and very clean, too. I loved that it was in area off the freeway, surrounded by loads of restaurants. This was so convenient, especially when traveling with children. The best part was the hotel rate I paid. I had expected to pay much more, and I was very happy that it was in a price range that most families can afford.

Good choice to stay for Vacaville outlet/ old town area, and Discovery Kingdom.

Inexpensive place that's clean and got the basics. Nice place to stay for a night or two if you were visiting Davis for specific events. Room was a bit small compared to normal.

“Not for late night visits”

Arrived late in nthe evening after a long, long drive. Front counter staff was very rude and had no customer service skills....

“Broken door latch”

My room's door latch was stuck and I could not get out of the room in the morning. I asked for a screw driver and a woman brought one that didn't quit fit and asked for a better one. 5 minutes later a guy came and spoke to me like I were a stupid guy who doesn't know how to unlock the latch for a minute. Then he finally brought a screw driver that fit. There was no apology.

“Smokers Haven”

Well you get what you pay for right. The hotel is inexpensive and supposedly we had a smoke free room which it was smoke free but the halls were saturated with the smell of cigarette smoke...yuk. Convienent location and cheap I will give it that.
