It's location on the UCD campus makes it ideal.

Really spacious rooms

Posted 12-Jul-2014
Very nice rooms. New hotel basically on campus. Right next to the mondavi center. The food was reasonably priced and some of the best at a hotel I've ever had. The BBQ chicken flatbread was great and so was everything else. Loved it here and will definitely be back.

UC Davis

Posted 09-Jul-2014
Pros: Location. Breakfast good. Nice small hotel feel to it.
Staff sent a bunch of people to the wrong place relating to UC Davis orientation. You'd think they'd have had some basic information, since half of the guests were there for that purpose.

Good Hotel

Good hotel but it might be better to stay downtown. The corner room was very noisy.

Comfortable hotel, unfortunate location

Posted 13-Jun-2014
Pros: The hotel is small but well designed, with adequate facilities, spacious, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff.
Cons: The only drawback is that it is 150 yards from an Amtrak line that runs directly in front of the hotel. I'm sure the rooms on the back side are nice
Location: It's right next to the UC Davis campus, and there's a pleasant Arboretum with walking/runniing trail just behind the hotel.
I travel to Sacramento on business frequently. On my last trip, most hotels in the city were sold out, but the Hyatt Place in nearby Davis got good reviews and had reasonable rates. So I tried staying there.

Terrific hotel located right on the UC Davis campu

Posted 08-Jun-2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: I would love having a microwave in the room.
Location: It's on the edge of the UC Davis campus which was exactly where we needed to be. Perfect.
What a friendly staff! Courteous, friendly, helpful...just wonderful. The room was very comfortable. Love the corner couch and and rolling ottoman, very nice. The shower head is SO much better than other hotels where you practically have to run around in order to get wet enough to lather up. The motion activated bathroom light is cool, too, and when you get up in the middle of the night, it doesn't turn on full force; just a low nightlight that slowly brightens as your eyes adjust. Very nice feature. Basically a really nice hotel. I would definitely return.

Super Staff

The first room was too close to the train noise but the staff helped us by finding another room. Central to Davis and close to Sacarmento and Vacaville.
