Pleasant stay
The hotel is pleasantly located on the bay of Sant Pol, but restaurant choices close by were limited. The hotel shows its 4 star status but is a bit soulless. Beware, using the tea and coffee, made available in the room, will incur a charge

Convienence trumps Amenities
First trip to Spain and Costa Brava area to attend wedding. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. However, room was basic and dated with minimal amenities. Parked my rental car on property although spaces were limited. Location was the key benefit with convenience to Costa Brava coast line with pleasant walking paths and beaches. Situated close enough to drive to Girona and Tessa de Mar for easy day trips.

The location is amazing. Beach is 2 minute walk. The grounds are beautiful! The internet did not work most of our stay. We do not have international calling plan on our cell phones and we were unable to use the internet to make reservations and changes to our travel plans. Unacceptable to not have intern access in this day.

Nice for two day stay.
Hotel was beautiful. Large marble lobby, well kept grounds and swimming pool. Parking was fantastic right in front of the hotel and there was a guard shack that was manned all the time. Breakfast was good, all the coffee you want and plenty of food choices. Rooms were nice, mattress was a little firm but that is to be expected in Europe. The town is really filled with vacation apartments and in the off season the near by restaurants were mostly closed. Great walk along the coast that starts right at the entrance to the hotel.

Good quality hotel worth visiting!
We were in one of the non premium rooms in this good quality hotel which is excellent value at this time of year. The breakfast was good with reasonable choice. Nice pool area surrounded by lawn. The room had a large bathroom and a big balcony which overlooked the quiet street. 5 mins walk to the beach or into town. We have already booked a return visit as we liked it so much!

Low season bliss
Great location for an out-of-season short break. Friendly, welcoming staff, hearty buffet breakfast. Great value for money.

Fantastic location. Beautiful outlook. Comfortable room with air conditioning .Pool view room preferable. Fridge in room very welcome . Stocked with reasonably priced drinks . Excellent WiFi. Staff in reception friendly and efficient. Very good breakfast Plenty of choice. Had dinner on one evening and although tasty service was very slow. Waiters seemed overwhelmed and short staffed. Service in bar off reception also very slow. Apart from this our stay was very enjoyable.

Perfect location right on the beach and near several bars and restaurants. Friendly staff. Rooms are bit outdated but that seemed to be the theme of the other hotels as well so no complaints.

Very good hotel in a first class location
Good quality without being too fancy. Excellent position just 30/40 metres from the beach. Will go back!

Not four star in today’s terms
Beautiful setting and helpful reception staff. However, not a four star hotel in current sense of the star ratings. Eg: buffet breakfast with cheap yoghurt pots, broken cereal lids, stinking fish tank in centre of breakfast restaurant. Chaotic breakfast layout. Coffee from machines, not via table service. Room was good but odd toilet layout: toilet faces sink block so no room for those with long legs to sit comfortably on toilet. Exposed wires for jacuzzi bath made room look a bit amateur. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Excellent air conditioning. Good parking. Restaurant staff gave conflicting information vs reception staff re availability of bar menu (reception said food could be ordered, bar staff refused so we had to go out of hotel to find food). Finally, proximity of this hotel to another hotel in the area meant we were unable to get to sleep until 1.30am one day - the other hotel played excessively loud music during a wedding with no regard for guests such that heavy bass reverberated around our sea facing room, rendering sleep impossible. Not S’Agaró Hotel’s fault, but something to be aware of if you are choosing a quiet hotel. Avoid weekends if you want to avoid wedding noise. Overall hotel was good but definitely three star - don’t go expecting four star.

Very nice hotlel located just in front of the beach. There are trails for walk among of the coast, very beautiful view. Room has balcony. Breakfast is good.

Situation fantastic with lovely terraces close to beach. Beds a bit hard and uncomfortable and hotel rooms quite noisy. Breakfast was ok not great but we enjoyed the gardens and the area.

Love it, but thin walls
Very nice boutique hotel. The breakfast and service was extravagant. The view and hotel grounds are stunning. Only issue is the rooms need a tad of update, and the walls are thin. But we enjoyed ourselves.

Hotel S'Agaro, Costa Brava, Spain
Beautiful location; quiet and quick access to beach and coastline walkway. Also easy access to highways to visit other places along the Costa Brava. Very good restaurant in the hotel, with excellent staff. On the minus side, room was small and there was no help with the luggage. Also, parking space is limited and may be an issue at the peak of the tourist season.

This short stay was our second visit so we knew what to expect, great hotel on the beach of the Costa Brava lovely position on the headland. Friendly staff, good food and rooms.

Last minute stay at The S'Agaro Hotel
I stayed at this hotel with my husband and elderly father, as a minute change to plans when we had to fly back home from Barcelona rather than Toulouse because of French air strikes. The hotel appeared to be just waking up after a winter snooze, I had booked basic rooms but was pleasantly surprised at their standard, also staff could not do enough for you. We ate dinner on both nights of our stay and We all agreed the food was excellent and was breakfast. Would recommend this hotel especially to families or couples. who want to be by the sea, lovely resort hiding amidst some of the more rowdy commercial spots on the Costa Brava.

if you do not like ANTS stay away
Great location wonderful views, but we woke up at three am to find hundreds of ants in our room crawling in our suitcase, cosmetic case everywhere. They moved us to the single room next door to sleep for the rest of the night. When we spoke to the front desk in the morning we where told we should be more understanding about the ants and would not do anything about it. A few ants no problem but hundreds at a four star property I do not feel I should be understanding. I would not recommend this hotel there are many in this location to pick from.

S'Agaro Hotel lovely!
WE were blessed by the cheaper price for this beautiful hotel through hotel.com. We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint was the barbecue night. the meat was of poor standard and quality.

Estancia muy agradable
Las instalaciones muy bonitas llenas de detalles, un ambiente super tranquilo, la atención muy buena, ubicación inmejorable en una cala preciosa, la cena muy buena, la habitación grande y cómoda. Aspectos a mejorar, algo más de variedad en el desayuno, una limpieza más detallada del lavabo y resolver el olor a tuberías que despedía el mismo. En todo caso, balance muy positivo. Volveremos con total seguridad.
