Excellent value for money. Great location as a base for surrounding area (Windsor & Eton) and central London, which is a single 40 minute overland rail journey to Waterloo. Whilst rooms are on the small side the bed was comfortable.
Free swimming pool and leisure facilities are a bonus as is the large free car park.
The hotel even left in our room an unexpected bottle of wine, chocs, fruit and a card for my wife's birthday which the room maid must have organised. Nice touch.
Would certainly recommend
"Country house luxury only 30 minutes from Heathrow"
A beautiful former Tudor hunting lodge only a 30 minute drive from Heathrow Airport, but it feels worlds away. The main house reeks of history but has been sensitively modernised where needed. Our room for two nights was in the Cloisters slightly away from the main house overlooking a pretty garden. Nice touches in the room were fresh milk for our tea/coffee and some quality shortbread! I found the breakfast buffet a little limited, although there was a good selection of cooked dishes to order (which were delicious). It's worth booking a table for dinner at the Tudor Room during your stay, and make time to enjoy a cocktail or two beforehand and a nightcap in the Anne Boleyn Room or a wander through the gardens afterwards. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and helped to make our stay extremely enjoyable. We will be sure to return when next in the area.
I wanted an economical place to stay overnight in Chertsey which could accomodate me being a coeliac and diary intolerant.
A single room in Hamilton's fitted the bill and the staff were very helpful regarding my dietary requirements.
From the pictures on Expedia I expected shabby, which was acceptable for one night at half the price of other local hotels, but in fact the room was very pleasant and clean. Would definitely stay again.
Adults, children AND teenagers will find plenty to do here-special and excellent facilities all round in beautiful surroundings. Lovely and spacious rooms with King sized beds, huge bathroom with bath AND separate shower. Very quiet. Beautifully furnished. We love the 19th hole bar and restaurant-casual and reasonably priced but the hotel also had a superb formal restaurant. We came back as we had hosted our daughters wedding here 3 years previously and couldn't fault it. Stunning gardens and scenery. Oh-and incidentally-you can play golf!!!!
