“Perfect Location”
Great experience from start to finish. Upon checking in at the Zum Grünen Kranz (at the restaurant), we were served complimentary mulled wine. The room was large with a small kitchenette and a very comfortable bed (a huge plus in Europe). The location is great. The hotel is at the very top of the central old downtown, right in the thick of things, but just outside enough to be quiet at night. We went for Thanksgiving and the Christmas market--PERFECT. A two minute walk to the market. Finally, the breakfast was great. Plenty of hot coffee, boiled eggs, cererals and plenty of breads and cheese. Highly recommend for the Christmas markets (one of our favorates throughout Germany) or just to explore the Rhine and the local wine country. Would absolutely return!
“Quaint hotel near everything”
This hotel was great! It was close to the train station and the things to do in Rudesheim. The hotel staff was so nice and the room was bigger than we expected. It was a little noisy at night because it was on the main street, and a little chilly, but we had no complaints. The room was very clean!
“Rudesheim Hotel”
We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect. Just a short work into the main part of the town. Our room was very clean and well-maintained though we had challenges the first night figuring out the heaters in the room which didn't seem to be working. Finding the hotel via car is also a challenge. Theoretically you can drive your car to the hotel, unpack your bags and park in a lot a couple of hundred feet away but we could never figure out how to drive up to the hotel so we parked in the lot and dragged our luggage to the hotel. Breakfast buffet was very good and the check-in / check-out experience was easy.
