The Manhattan Bar & Restaurant - Located on the second floor of the building, the light and airy restaurant and bar areas offer expansive city views of the city center and all its hustle and bustle. A breakfast buffet and International dinner menu are available in the restaurant area, while the café/bar area serves up a lunch and high tea menu. Daily specials are added to the restaurant's evening menu and 24-hour room service is available. The bar is styled with a nautical theme, with dark stained timber floors, red and white upholstery, and a highly polished chrome bar serving an extensive selection of whiskies and cocktails.

“Perfect for the Doelen”

We chose this hotel for its location as we were going to rehearsals and a concert at de Doelen - the major concert venue in Rotterdam. The hotel is in the next block to the venue so couldn't be closer and at concert times there is a connecting covered bridge-walway between the two. Convenient few minutes walk to the central shopping areas. Staff were very helpful and put themselves out to answer my queries about finding the location of specialist Dutch cheese shops. Of particular usefulness to travellers the hotel is just a few minutes across the plaza/ roadway from the railway station. Also, and important for me as I was travelling by car, there is underground parking beneath the next door Plaza centre with lift axis direct up to the hotel lobby. Our room was comfortable and had the benefit of a proper desk. There was an iron and ironingboard in the wardrobe - great for tidying up travel weary shirts! Would certainly stay again if visiting in central Rotterdam.

“Excellant location”

A nice hotel located very near the Rotterdam Centraal train station. Very convenient if like me you use the train to travel around the surrounding areas of Rotterdam - Taxis are VERY expensive. Staff very attentive and friendly. Only drawback for me was the price of the breakfast : 28.00e. I booked room only and walked across to the station where you can buy coffee, tea, excellent freshly made rolls and croissants at a fraction of that price. Would definitely stay again though and would recommend you do to !

“Impressive Rotterdam Hotel”

I was very impressed with this hotel...It is very well suited for business travellers. The hotel is located next to all the major transport routes. I didn't mark it for "5" for "Quality of hotel service" because when requesting for a toothbrush no one turned up when even calling room service twice. In the end, I had to go to reception and they finally admitted that they ran out of toothbrushes. I mean for a 5-star hotel you would expect they would have lots of toothbrushes in stock. Apart from that, the hotel is very nice and clean. The room we requested was one that had a connected room and both rooms that we requested was very big. Breakfast was a buffet style and you had quite a few choices of what you can pick up at the buffet table. The hotel is definitely worth staying for a weekend break if not for business.
