“Pay a bit more and stay in a better place”
This hotel is definitely not a 3-star hotel. The amenities in the bathroom is minimum. (You need to pull the string from the ceiling to turn the light on in the bathroom!) The harbor view from your room is not guaranteed. The hotel faces to 3 sides, the harbor view, backstreet view and next building's parking garage. If you expect the view from the room, don't risk yourself. There are far more rooms facing to backstreet as well as parking garage than the harbor view. The hotel is far from Rotterdam central station. You'd better to take a tram, it stops in front of the hotel. The restaurants and shopping stores are quite far. No matter where you go, it's far and you need to take a tram. The only good thing is free Wifi. The signal is quite strong, so you can use wifi in front of the hotel watching the harbor view.
“Had to upgrade”
This review is not for the standard basic twin, which is where we started out (in the dingy basement, with a shared bathroom with 4 other rooms that reeked of feet.) We called the front desk and they upgraded us to one of the 7th floor that was clean, comfortable, and had its own bathroom! You feel a little bit like you've walked through a wormhole in space and time when you're in the lobby, but that sort of fits with the feeling of Rotterdam overall. Decent continental breakfast, but ends too early at 9:30.

J'ai pris une chambre qui donne sur le port: j'ai laissé les rideaux ouverts pour pouvoir profiter de la vue. Chambre de taille moyenne mais confortable. Le petit déjeuner est compris, mais ne vous attendez pas à quelque chose de gastronomique! Accessible à pied de la gare, un plus pour moi.
“Mooi aan de Maas”
Het Maritime Hotel in Rotterdam geeft je zeker waar voor je geld! Het is een degelijk basic-hotel (Zeemanshuis), geen poespas maar met een goede, schone kamer en bijvoorbeeld een prima ontbijtbuffet. De ligging aan de Maas, tegenover de Kop van Zuid is schitterend. Prima!

man müsste aber informieren wo man parken kann ,weil nur ein Parkhaus zur Verfügung steht und das 17 euro am TAg kostet. sollte vorher bekannt sein.
