Lovely hotel.
Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff, good location & good breakfast with lots of choices. Pillows were the worst I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. But that was the only negative.

Nothing fancy here - clean and well maintained with a decent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Aside from the breakfast, no services to speak of. Room was clean, but rather soulless, with an institutional feel and a very soft bed. Nothing at all unpleasant to report, but would likely look elsewhere on a next trip.

The entrance is pretty dated, but surprisingly the room was pretty nice! This was until we realized they put us in a connecting room. Without the usual double door separate, it was essentially a single layer of plywood. Initially, no problem. Who puts guests that aren't together in connecting rooms in a largely vacant hotel? This place. We could hear every single movement, text message through the door clear as day. And the partying of our neighbours (3-4 people) until 2am when we had to be up at 6 drove us absolutely insane Obviously, let's call the front desk! The phone didn't work. So, let's go to the front desk! ... No one works at night. Contacted hotels.com, and even after spending thousands and have a almost a another thousand reserved, they were useless. Didn't do anything at all to help us. Never followed up. Never contacted the hotel. I'm seriously disappointed in the entire experience with the app. And will sooner sleep in the bus station before giving any money to hotel Milano. What trash.

Nice room with good beds, airco and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast. Decoration in the dining room is old. Garden has yet to be laid out. Rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy due to the traffic and the passage of the tram.

Reservations but no room??
I made a last-minute reservation last night, and after walking a kilometer in the rain I arrived at the hotel to be told they had no rooms. I need a refund please.

Basic hotel, bad neighborhood
Very basic hotel. It is rather a few cluster buildings with different accesses and a reception. The bed, pillows, duvet etc. all appeared in worn out state. Bed not comfortable. This can at best classified as budget tourist hotel. And definitely not a 3-star property. The breakfast was basic and okay in my opinion. The neighborhood area was very shady with a lot of shady, addicted people roaming around (even in the day time). The environment there made it look like quite unsafe. Tram stop nearby

Good hotel in Rotterdam
Nice hotel and very good breakfast Road works mean the tram is not running near hotel but should be finished by end of June Bed lovely mad soft and a lovely big bathroom in room 203. I would stay there again

The stairs were very narrow, and were in a spiral, which could be a problem for some, however, a lift was available.

Unprepared and un-welcoming staff, no food available and no real interest in helping to locate any, room clean but room above had surround sound bass really high so could not sleep till after midnight and although tea and coffee available in the room there were no cups!!

Nice room to stay in Rotterdam
This was it a night's stay. The room was separate from the reception and where breakfast was eaten. One needed to step outside and walk a few doors to the room. This is no problem if it is not raining. It was a little concerning that what seemed a used bath mat was still left on the floor, to step out of the shower, plus a towel spread to use the toilet. This was slightly odd. Staff were friendly and the overall experience was very good. If given the same room, I will rebook this hotel. With no question.

Good staff and breakfast, junky view.
The hotel is located just a few blocks from shopping and central station. My room was in an annex and had no lift to get luggage up the steep stairs. Bathroom and toilet were very clean and nicely modern. The main building does have an elevator, which can be important if you need to get a suitcase up to your room. The staff was kind and helpful. I was late for breakfast but they let me enjoy my coffee and food without any complaints. One thing that was an eyesore was the garden behind the hotel, it was full of trash and abandon construction supplies. My room had huge windows that opened to the garden and it would have been great to enjoy the evening as the weather was so hot. Unfortunately, the backside of the building was an incredible mess with piles of junk.

Nice hotel in local Rotterdam neighborhood. Close to several restaurants and the tram. Train station is a 10 minute walk. Rooms do not have AC but nights are usually not that hot. Staff is very helpful and the breakfast was really very good.

worst hotel in europe
this hotel should be removed from your web-site. it is in a terrible location and we even got the impression that there were hookers on the street. the hotel corridors are dangerous to walk. some lights would not come on until you were halfway down the steps. the elevator would not operate unless you kept your hand on the button until you reached your floor. the put us in a room on the third floor without AC when the temperature was 90 degrees. we were told we had a standard room only and that they do not provide AC with those rooms. when we realized that our patio door was broken, they finally gave us a different room with AC but only a queen bed. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. THEY ARE AWFUL. ORBITZ WOULD DO THEIR CUSTOMERS A FAVOR BY NOT LISTING THIS HOTEL. WE THINK THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST HOTEL WE ENCOUNTERED IN 2.5 MONTHS OF TRAVEL THRU EUROPE.

A comfortable stay
There may be mosquitoes if windows are left open. However, the room has a ceiling fan as a kind of air conditioning to keep the room cool even if the windows are shut.

Not very good but a decent location
Hot water was not working properly, staff claimed to have fixed it but then made excuses that it was not always working because they were doing renovations. There was an empty beer can in the room from the previous guest that did not get cleaned. The TV was constantly flickering. Front desk staff was not very polite when I tried to contact them about the issues. The breakfast was really good and the hotel is in a pretty good location between the train station and downtown. Would not stay there again if I am in Rotterdam.
