“Dated Interiors, Friendly Service (Except at Breakfast)”

Was in Rotterdam on business and stayed at this hotel on Feb 3rd. It's not exaclty how you imagine a 4star hotel looks - everything looked old and worn out, especially in the room -lots of scratches on the walls and doors. But other than that, the room was spacious and clean, the staff at reception were very friendly (everyone in Rotterdam speaks almost fluent English which helps). Service at breakfast was very cold and unwelcoming, wouldn't allow us to sit at a table we wanted as it wasn't set, did not offer any coffee/tea refills. The hotel is located 5 min walk from the Art Museum, which i really enjoyed in my spare hour (entry 10euro). Got an introducation to a few Dutch artists i didn't know, and the collection includes such artists as Dali, Kandisky, Magritte, Rembrandt, VanGogh, Monet, Degas and many others. The train station is about 5-7mins by cab.

“Fine hotel”

Hotel easy to locate, and 2 tram stops (or 10 minutes walk) from Central Station. Pleasant area, near museums, some bars, and shops; and on several tram lines. Metro just round the corner. I had little reason to request help from staff, but they were always helpful. Room very large, well-furnished, spotless.

“A Perfect "Welkom" To Rotterdam”

I was able to check in early (8am) after a very long flight with no troubles. They also provided me with a room upgrade free of charge. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Everyone was also extremely friendly. I couldn't have asked for more.

Very well located and convinient for shopping resturants and transport. Good service and facilities in the hotel.

“Would not book again out of choice”

I would not rate this hotel as 'four star'. It is quite old and I feel it is in need of some modernization. I had a single room which frankly was very small to the extent of almost being claustrophobic! No Coffee or Tea facilities in the room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located.

“Great Nights Sleep”

Hotel was an excellent central base for me. Was only in Rotterdam for the marathon and needed somewhere conveniently located for the expo, start/finish area & train station. Perfectly located on the edge of the main square, the room was more than adequate for my needs and the bed provided me with a perfect nights sleep. The only drawback was the breakfast which was ridiculously over priced for what was on offer.

“Ein absolutes Top-Hotel in allen Kategorien !!!”

Dieses Hotel hat seine 4 Sterne verdient. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend, kein Wunsch blieb aussen vor. Dass man für die Extra-Leistungen bezahlen muss, ist selbstverständlich. Wir konnten für nur 15,-€ pro Tag unsere Kategorie aufstocken und bekamen ein Zimmer im Tower mit Kaffee und Tee auf dem Zimmer soviel man möchte, Wasserkocher vorhanden, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen im Zimmer. Die Qualität der Handtücher war schlecht, es gab aber jeden Tag frische. Der Fernseher war sehr klein und ein "alter Kasten" und hatte auch nur ARD und ZDF als deutsche Kanäle. Die Preise der Minibar sind unverschämt hoch. Der Tresor war kostenlos. Für nur 17,50 € pro Tag bekam ich ein Parkplatz im mit Tor verschlossenen Hotelhof mit Namensschild. Die Preise der Hotelbar waren okay (Cocktails 9,95 €), leider wurde ein neuer Mitarbeiter in der Hotelbar alleine gelassen, so dass hier mit Cocktails und Bedienung nicht alles funktionierte. Schade war auch, dass es im Tower kein Zimmer gibt mit Balkon, nicht mal die Fenster kann man öffnen, dafür gibt es aber Klimaanlage. Nur an den Gartenzimmern (das sind die günstigsten) ist ein kleiner Balkon, hier aber keine Klima und kein Wasserkocher mit Tee/Kaffee. Das Frühstück war super, jedoch m.E.n. mit 23,50 € pro Person sehr überteuert. Insgesamt ein super Hotel, das ich jederzeit wieder besuchen würde! SMF

“very pleasant hotel for an extremely reasonable price”

although the hotel is a bit dated, its still a very stylish kind of place... . the rooms certainly have seen better days, but the quality of the furnishings is very good and built for sturdy comfort rather than quick flash. didn't have breakfast, but had an excellent sandwich in the bar. very friendly staff. AC was cold, a rarity in europe!

“Park hotel Rotterdam”

Goede locatie, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, maar het hotel heeft een renovatie beurt nodig
