Terrible

Posted 10-Dec-2014
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Rebuild
Location: great tourist destination, mud pools, hot springs, go carting, zorbing
Rooms in desperate need of renovation, mould in bathroom, kitchen bench stained, holes badly patched up in walls and the list goes on. Not all advertised facilities were available. Never again!!!!

For the price, the room was excellent value.

Pros: The price and the staff.
Cons: A hole in the shower could do with mending.
Location: Central. Close to food outlets and on the Main Street.
The manager, John, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again.

Uncomfortable as facilities looked dirty. Washroom needs major renovation. Lots of dust. Hotel requires total face lift.

only stayed one night so it served a purpose

Posted 24-Nov-2014
Pros: the staff were friendly enough but only stayed one night so didn't get to use the facilities
Cons: lots (whaty I mentioned in the first paragraph
Location: didn't stay long enough to find out (just passing thru
the matress was uncomfortable so didn't get much sleep. there was no remote for the tv and no instructions ( I found a little toggle switch at the back of the tv which operated the basic functions ). only one face cloth supplied for two people. the couch was saggy and collapsed and couldn't really sit on it

Cheap & Cheerful

Good value for money, clean comfortable studio room with friendly staff. 10 minute walk from Te Puia and a short taxi ride to town.

You get what you pay for

Posted 15-Nov-2014
It was a business trip, it served its purpose. No bells and whistles. Fridge was switched off with old stuff inside. I didn't pay a lot to stay here so you get what you pay for. Needs a bit of an upgrade
