No BBQ facilities as stated and bathroom was leaking, all windows are faulty and AC was broken, so at the time we were told we are being upgraded. Upon moving we were given a room without full kitchen which is part reason we booked and was a very tiny space. Our experience was terrible and would not recommend…

Hi Saan,Hope you are doing well.We were waiting for you to contact. Because we were not answering our call and left without paying.When you booked you could check the room have air condition or not. We haven't posted that we have air conditioned room. But stll we sent a reminder message to make sure that you booked a non air conditioned room.you have requested to add one more night and we added to your booking. Later we have moved to a different motel with a free upgrade. Air conditioned room, Swimming pool and cooking facilities. You informed us that you will pay the balance amount before check out because you don't have money to buy the food for your kid. You acted very nice to the staff and enjoyed the free upgrade and left without paying. We rang you more than 10 times and you didn't answered. Actually our experience from you was horrible.Thank you

je n’ai rien aimé dès notre arrivée. La,porte des wC bloquée, la fenêtre de la chambre coincée, pas de climatiseur. Qu’ on a demandé à changer de chambre mieux mais déçue, on a préféré changé de motel qu’on a demandé à rester à Ambassador motel, du fait que la nuit tombait et pas eu le temps de chercher un autre logement.

Hi Ginette,Sorry for the inconvenience.Our toilet sliding door rail roller became stuck and we offered another same type of room for you.To open the window please unlock the security stay.Regarding the A/C we are advertised we have only fans in room and also you have received an automated message on 28th of dec as a reminder that we don't have have A/C rooms. (Same day of booking) Your check in date was 14th Jan. Some people won't notice while trying to book for low-cost rooms. that's why set up automated message and you replied to our message and said no problem.

Good value for money. Very spacious clean room with basic version of everything you need. Friendly welcoming staff. Apart from bouncy beds, I'd highly recommend.

Big unit, clean and quiet since it's off the main road, needs a little bit of updating, however perfect for our budget with 3 teenagers in tow.

A quick getaway with a group of friends
It's a bargain stay for a group of 8 people. Comfortable beds and spacious. Tidy and useful kitchen. Handy to amenities.

We liked the hot springs hot tub a lot. Room size was plenty big. Bed was extremely comfortable. Full kitchen, which was nice. The owners, Willie and Cherie, are very nice people and were so helpful with excursion planning and were quick to address our questions and needs.

Overall a nice comfortable place with plenty of space for a big family such as ours. Very good value for money. Some of my family members also enjoyed the mineral bath at the back of the property. The fact the wifi was fast and the TV had Netflix was a real plus among the kids. Too bad the clothes dryer was not operating when we stayed.

Good location
Bed was not very comfortable, dipped in the middle. No air-conditioning and was very hot. The couple looking after the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the pool and were very thankful for the fans in the rooms as it was hot. The lino floors were quite sticky and the base of the shower wasn't the cleanest (fortunately I wear thongs /flip flops whenever I travel).

Sorry we overcharged you I assure you it wasn't intentional. The pool is closed at 9 to ensure other guests and neighbours are not annoyed with noise but the hot mineral pool is available for quests 24 hours.

Great Hospitality in Rotorua
Nice one-night stay in Rotorua. Very helpful attendant recommended great restaurant and sites. We walked to the restaurant and park to see thermals. Spring fed hot tub looked green. Not sure if that is normal but would have used it anyway if I had had time.

Large rooms and full size kitchen with excellent heated pool. Unfortunately one bed was rock hard, the other was fine. Kitchen well equipped, but lack of powerpoints made cooking challenging and the oven was highly temperamental. Friendly helpful staff and good laundry facilities

Spacious motel close to CBD
Motel is old fashioned but spacious & value for money. Thermal heating throughout so great for a winter stay. Also heated indoor & outdoor pools a bonus. Only a short walk to shops & CBD. Staff were very helpful. We have stayed here before and would stay again.

Stayed here for two nights. For starters, the good. We had a nice big one bedroom apartment for a reasonable price. Being two adult males, one of us made the living room the bedroom while the other slept in the actual bedroom. Two separate spaces, which made for a bit of privacy after sharing a room for most of the trip. The apartment came with a well equipped kitchen which came in handy when we had an in-room movie & home made Lunchable(tm) night the first night when it was pouring. We were pleased to find a semi-working Netflix on the TV so we could bing part of the new season of Love. The hotel had a pool and a small thermal pool, but we didn't get to try either, sadly. Now, the downsides. The beds weren't the most comfortable... my friend called them inflatable mattresses as that's sort of what they felt like. The Internet was very slow on my computer and cell phone... I have no idea how Netflix even worked with those speeds! Not only was it slow it would just go out for periods of time. This was a theme of Rotorua, so I don't blame the hotel as much as I do the Internet in the whole city, apparently. The bathroom was also in need of a refurbishment. It was fine, but the toilet only had a non-locking sliding door on it, and the shower faucet was one of the oldest I've seen in a hotel, and I've stayed in a lot. Would I stay here again? Sure. Would I recommend it? Sure. But if you are used to American style upscale chains, this is not the hotel for you.

Good Value for Money
This is an older motel, e.g. separate hot and cold faucets in the bathroom sink, but has quite spacious suites that are dusty (I'm allergic to dust) but otherwise clean. It has a mineral pool that my travelling companions very much enjoyed. The host charged the room rate to my credit card before we arrived, which was a problem since we wished to pay in cash. He said he hadn't noticed the fine print on the reservation specifying that we would pay on arrival. He immediately reversed the charge, with apologies, but I did have to deal with my credit card company to get the exchange rate difference between charge and credit reversed. Other than that issue, our stay was very pleasant and the hosts most welcoming and helpful. This is not a high end hotel but provides excellent value for money for a reasonably clean, spacious, safe place to stay just a short walk from the city centre and close to a shopping mall.

Once again sorry for the inconvenience of the credit card. The motel is older and is advertised as such and we are rated as a Three star accommodation supplier. We do however intend on upgrading the facilities when our budget allows and do maintain them to work properly . Thank you for your feedback we do appreciate it.
