“Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful old town”

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel und Gasthof zur Sonne Rothenburg. We had a family room with lots of space - one of the biggest rooms we had on our month long stay in Europe & central to town. The staff were friendly & the town was amazing, really beautiful with so much to see & do. I recommend the Nightwatchmans tour - it was great. It was very informative but delivered with humour. This guy is seriously funny & you can see he loves what he does. We would all happily stay here again, but for longer next time!

Area recommendations
Rothenburg is a beautiful town with lots of specialty shops, great places to eat & lovely scenery. If you are there overnight do the Nightwatchmans tour - it was great. Take time to walk & look at the lovely buildings & enjoy some of the bakeries & cafe's. We had a lovely Eis right next to the hotel, sat outside and just watched the people going past. Early morning & late evening when the masses have left, the town is really quiet. Be prepared to stress out a little getting in to park when you arrive, our GPS sent us on a wild goose chase, but well worth it to get there.

“hotel zur sonne rothenburg”

Albergo in pieno centro e in zona pedonale, IL GARAGE A PAGAMENTO NON GARANTITO nel mio caso era pieno, se vi serve il garage e non volete prendere multe per scaricare i bagagli , in 10 minuti ho beccato 10 € di multa per divieto di sosta, richiedete il servizio preventivamente. Il collegamento ad internet e solo al ristorante, in camera non arriva, la reception è raggiungibile attraversando il ristorante, 4 piani senza ascensore,L'albergo e Molto pulito , Il check-in dalle ore 11,00 la camera mi è stata consegnata alle ore 13,00 (non mi sembra molto veloce), il personale poliglotta non emette una parola di Italiano tranne Ciao. Colazione Decente, Camera spaziosa , Ristorante buono e pulito. Personale non molto simpatico forse perchè irritato dalle mie proteste per il mancato parcheggio.
