“Nice Hotel, Recommend it”
Nice hotel, very clean, just by Termini Station which is very convinient especially if you are arriving from the airport late at night. Termini also has a big Bus Station, which makes the area very well connected. The neighberhood is not great compared to the rest of rome.
“Acceptable”
Booked 9 nights prepaid hotel and airfare from NJ through Expedia. Hotel was in good location 5 minute walk to main train station and subway. Our room was clean, recently renovated with tiny bathroom. Room had mini safe in closet. AC automatically shut off so we had keep window open but it was fairly noisy at night. Even though their website cited free wifi in public area and we showed staff at desk, there is a per day charge. Internet in room did not work and through their tv was phathetic, so dont count on easy access to internet. If you want to use the spa facilities such as hot tub, additonal charges apply. We arrrived 10.30 and had to wait til 1pm for check in, they had early check-in & lunch for additional charge for 35 euros. Good hotel but dont expect anything extra without a charge associated with it.
“DO NOT RECOMEND”
Air condition was not working in several rooms and they didn't have a solution. Spent 4 nights. DO NOT RECOMEND!!!!!!
“Keep an eye on your passports!”
The Welcome Piram Hotel was an acceptable hotel for a short break in Rome for most of our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, although it overlooked an alley at the back of the hotel and the noise of deliveries and rubbish collection was very loud in the morning. However, it all went downhill on the last morning when we went to checkout and the hotel were unable to return our passports which the hotel had requested during the registration process. We then spent all day at the British Embassy and considerable cost to arrange emergency travel documentation to be able to return home. Fortunately we had just enough time to do this before out flight and when we returned to the hotel to pick up our bags, they had found our passports but too late for us, as they had already been cancelled.
“Excellent location”
This hotel is within walking distance to the Termini Station and to all the important monuments (Colisum, Roman forums, Tivoli etc). The proximity to Termini is convenient because all the buses and metro stations are located there. The hotel is clean and people are friendly. The buffet (breakfast) could be improved . Overall, I would recommend it!
“Very impressed”
My girlfriend and I had heard some average reviews, but overall we were very impressed with the hotel. It's located close to the main train station but is away from the main road. The staff were dry helpful and they all spoke fluent English. We had a complementary breakfast every morning which was great quality. The Internet is wireless but you have to pay, but if you have a laptop you can plugthe Ethernet cable in from your room.
“Great hotel and staff”
Loved the location near the train station. It made it really easy to get around.
“Not impressed.”
It is more of a hostel not hotel.I wouldn't stay there again.especially with children.
“Staff quality, very poor.”
The first impression of the hotels appearances is very good. As things progressed I realised that we had made a big mistake with the choice of this particular hotel. We had a one night stay after 5 nights in the Trevi Rome. The Front of house staff offered a very poor quality of service. we paid € 50.00 for a late check-out. We requested a twin bedded room; the room provided to us had a double bed. Eventually housekeeping arrived to change the bed format. As this was being done we left the room. Upon our return the bed had been separated into 2, both the beds where covered with a bedspread, however underneath no sheets. After many calls and visits to reception, housekeeping arrived at 12.15 AM and handed us the sheets for us to make the beds. The next morning we receive an abrupt call at 11AM to ask why we have not checked out. I explained that we had paid the late fee, and that we had arrange to check out at 3PM. They said they had no record of this and we must leave the room. Once again after many visits to reception, and speaking to the hotel manager the situation was rectified; the guy that checked us in forgot to make a note. Once again the quality of service when dealing with this issue was very poor, no apologies offered for their mistake. These are not big issues if they are dealt with correctly, but being made to feel that “you” are the one causing the staff unnecessary inconvenience, shows extremely poor customer care and bad management of staff! GIVE IT A MISS!
“OK Hotel”
The only problem I had with this hotel was with the front-room help. First the desk clerk told us we had to wait to be checked in and then proceeded to check in others who came after us. He spent a great deal of time describing and trying to sell guided tours to people who arrived after us, ignoring us and leaving us sitting there until we finally re-approached the desk to be checked in. At that point, the doorman, who had been so attentive to the pretty young things who came in after us, ignored this 76 year old struggling with her suitcase until she was half-way up the stairs to the elevator.
