Restaurant Doney - A gleaming gray-marble floor, maroon-and-pink striped curtains, and red-leather chairs set the scene in this fine-dining restaurant, which overlooks Via Veneto and offers sidewalk dining in summer. The Mediterranean menu changes regularly to feature regional and seasonal dishes such as Fresh Pasta with Octopus and Sea Truffles. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
ORVM Bar - An elegant art deco style cafe. It is open for lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea.
h club>doney - This historic café, formerly known as the Gran Caffe Doney, has a large terrace with outside tables on Via Veneto. Remodeled in 2003, the room has a stylish, contemporary look. Coffee, snacks, and cocktails are served all day.

“Nice Hotel”
we stayed as 2 adults and 1 x child (9years old), and stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, we were very satisfied with the hotel and staff could not have been friendlier, however, if we went back I would invest in a travel kettle and take tea, coffee etc as no brewing facilities and with a room service charge of 6 euro per person we found that a little expensive for a cup of tea in the morning, what I will say is order the "American Breakfast" in the morning, order the full list and at 29 euros its a bargain as if you eat out it will cost you a fortune - food in Italy is very expensive (6euro per small coffee!!) - but all in all we would recommend this hotel, lovely stay and the pool was a real bonus for our 9 year old.
“Great Hotel”
The hotel is beautiful with an excellent location. The staff was great. Absolutely perfect
“A great hotel in a great city.”
Altogether a good experience. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from most of the sights of interest, but we were able to manage with our nine year old. Took an easy to find taxi when we got too tired to get home on foot. The hotel was very nice and worth the few cab fares.
“Had the time of our lives...”
We were so pleased with this hotel. We had stayed at the Westin Palace in Milan, so we hoped this hotel would be just as wonderful. We were upgraded to a small suite when we checked in. Our room had two terraces, two chandeliers, a marble bathroom and a walk-in mirrored closet area. It made our holiday experience even better. The employees at the hotel were very helpful in recommending restaurants. All of their recommendations turned out to be really good. I kept a journal of where we ate, what we ate and what wine we drank. I did not want to forget one thing about our time in Rome at this excellent hotel.
“Excellent service, location not so good”
Excellent service, concierge 24 hours a day.
“Although I got a good deal, I kept feeling I overpaid for past glory. Don't stay there.”
The hotel is very well located and the building is extremely beautiful. The staff was lazy there are always like five persons in the reception doing nothing. The carpets were dirty and old, and the room was not clean. The Westin or Starwood chain should do something to remedy the situation is a shame to have the hotel in such a poor condition in all aspects.

“Very expensive hotel in Rome”
A really nice hotel, but too expensive to eat and drink here. Luckily there are many restaurants nearby which are cheaper.
“westin rome”
All in all it was a good hotel...
“will never go back and will never recommend”
DIRTY BED LINEN WAS THE SURPRISE ON OUR FIRST NIGHT even though we checked in in the afternoon. After our complaint to the front desk we were offered a bottle of champagne with an excuse note from the manager but this was not enough to help us regain confidence. The room is not well maintened and the furniture is dirty. The room daily cleaning and preparation was always incomplete. We always felt uncomfortable staying in this hotel especially that we could not trust cleanliness anymore. Having dinner in the hotel restaurant, we could not eat what we ordered because it was nothing but salt. We were really disappointed because nobody would expect this in a 5 stars hotel in Rome with such an expensive room rate.
