Beautiful room - close to everything!

Posted 31-Jul-2015
Cons: When we asked about tours or access to sights, the staff did not have any info, just a map of the city.
The hotel is in walking distance from the train station. A little hard to find but worth the search. The room was perfection!!! Big, clean, modern, comfy. The air conditioner was the best we had in Italy and the shower was just what you needed after a long, hot day exploring Rome. The private little balcony was relaxing at night. Close to the Metro as well!!

Great location, amazing hotel for the price!

Posted 27-Jul-2015
Pros: Location was great, staff was super helpful, and it was clean and comfortable.
Cons: n/a!
Location: 15 minute walk to the Colosseum and surrounding areas, and only a 2 minute walk to the metro --easy access to the train station and to the Vatican.
We had a great experience at this hotel! It is not fancy--simple, clean rooms, no extra gimmicks--but it was exactly what we wanted. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable (not the case in many places in Italy), and there were great black out shades which really came in handy in Rome! The staff was fantastic--they gave us great recommendations, were super helpful with directions and tips, and we had a lovely experience. Again--if you are looking for a fancy hotel, this isn't it--however, it was the perfect place to lay our heads after a long day of exploring the city. The price was fantastic and the location (about a 10-15 minute walk to the Colosseum) was great. Highly recommend!

Nice location

Posted 12-Jul-2015
Walkable to most places, wished there had been more of a lounge area. Beds were comfy, showers a little small. All was very clean and they gave two free waters a day in the micro fridge which was nice and appreciated. Staff was friendly and helped us make a few reservations.

It was disappointing to find that the hotel was actually one or 2 floors and a multiuse commercial building. Because of that, it was difficult to find with the name appearing on a small plaque with several others on the outside of the building. The building itself appeared unkempt and unclean. Once I entered the "hotel," the common areas looked an upscale hostel although the room itself was nice and the bathroom large and recently renovated.

Quaint and Convenient Off Street Hotel

Posted 05-Jul-2015
Pros: Small, clean and convenient to most of the site in Rome
Cons: Needs an additional chair in room so that two people can sit without having to use the bed
Location: Very convenient to METRO, rail and bus terminals. Great restaurants nearby.
We stayed at the Suitedreams Hotel during our July 2015 visit to Rome. It was convenient to the Repubblica METRO Station and Termini Railroad Station. Since it is located on a side street, it may be difficult to find on your first visit, but it is well worth the search both in terms of price, cleanliness and convenience.

Great Hotel

Posted 02-Jul-2015
We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff. The location of hotel was great as you could walk to pretty much everything. The room was spacious, very clean and the aircon fantastic which was important as some days the temp reached over 30 degrees.

Great mid price hotel in Rome. Recommendable.

Pros: Very clean, modern rooms. Ours was to the courtyard and extremely quiet. Also dark, because of the shutters. A/C worked very well, WiFi good and free.
Cons: A small desk would be nice.
Location: Excellent location for independent travelers. Wonderful bookstore right next door. Shopping galore.
Excellent location two blocks from Piazza della Repubblica (Metro to Vatican takes only 10 minutes and runs all the time), lots of buses on Via Nazionale (around the corner), great ice cream shop 2 blocks! Very good shopping on Via Nazionale. Tabacchi at corner for bus tickets. The buses take you to all the tourist sights on the southern side (Vittorio Emmanuele, close to Forum, Capitoline Museums etc.). Just have a map and look at the bus stop signs for details Metro better for northern part like Vatican. Room has a safe and a refrigerator (which was very quiet, thank you very much!). You get two bottles of water free every day. Enough space in room to comfortably pack suitcases. If you arrive by train: Go out the side doors to avoid all of the pickpockets and hustlers in the lobby! You can also avoid them by buying your tickets from the machines on the platforms instead of the machines in the lobby (where you get swarmed - but just do not respond to anything anybody says and hold on to your stuff!). There is one by platform 22 or 23 free of hustlers, by the Leonardo Express that goes to Fiumicino airport nonstop in half an hour. It is easier to pay by cash, credit card takes many steps. Metro the same. Tickets are good for all Metro, bus and trolley transports. Not necessary to buy day tickets, unless you ride a lot.
