“Best Hotel Rome Italy”
This is an awesome hotel. It is located just across the river from the Vatican on a very quiet street. There are a number of restaurants very close. The hotel is a small boutique hotel that is awesome. They have a wonderful staff and our room was spectacular. Great location, great hotel what more could you ask for!
“Immaculate Perception.”
Hotel St. George is perfectly located, immaculately kept, and professionally attended by a competent, multi-lingual staff, whose only focus is making your stay at the hotel, and in Rome, a perfect experience. From spacious rooms to a first-rate breakfast, the St. George is for the traveler who knows what service and excellence are to look & feel like while traveling. A fantastic experience in a fantastic city... If being pampered and treated with a little extra patience and respect are what you enjoy while traveling abroad, the St. George is for you.
“Perfect for a short break”
This hotel is perfectly located right in the centre of the city, with all the sights within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and we had a wonderful few days while we were there!
“5 Star all the way”
Great location Great Staff Great Hotel
“Well positioned & up to the mark”
We picked a 5 star and had certain expectations, and am pleased to say all were met. We had a larger room, number 114 on the corner, which was spacious, and quiet, very effective sound insulation, not that the road outside was particularly busy. The A/C worked effectively, and so did the shower, often things that disappoint. The breakfast was good, and the service staff at reception and in the breakfast area all good. The room was serviced daily and all aspects fine. We did not dine in, so unable to comment on the bar/restuarant/pool aspects. We did use room service on the night of our arrival, that was fine. The hotel is well placed for many of the key sights, but not near any of the metro stations. We in fact walked everywhere by choice, so not a problem.
“Modern comfort”
5 star in heart of Rome
“Hotel is good but service is not!”
The hotel is good in quality but a bit over priced. It was very clean and it was close to everywhere in Rome. The breakfast was decent in Roman standard. Parking in that part is not a big problem. There are very good restaurants in close n'hood. The problem with hotel is service. We asked for reservation from a Michelin star restaurant, they said it is ok/confirmed and we went to Michelin start rest and learned that they are closed. We asked for a Collesium tour reservation, they collected money and told us to be at Palladium at certain time. When we went there we learned that they were collecting tourist from hotels and dropping off. We asked for this and they said no at hotel reception. The staff was not customer oriented and smiling. I would not go there again.
“Definitely not a 5 star hotel”
While in a good location, the hotel should not be rated 5 stars by any measure. The service is not great and took a very long time to get drinks one night, so we had to cancel our order. The rooms were cramped and the bathrooms weren't super clean (buildup on bathtub, old spots on the floor, etc). I would consider other hotels before this one if you're looking to drop over a few hundred dollars a night.
“Saint George Roma is the best hotel and the people are so nice!”
We just got back from Rome. We were there August 21-25th and it was hot! Their staff was very friendly and accomadating. Teresa at the front desk was nice and very helpful.. our air conditing was fantastic.. it was very hot when were there.. Also, the whirpool in the basement is to die for.. it was like a real Roman bath... lukewarm swimming pool with a small waterfall flowing.. it was heavenly!!!! Our room had a terrace which was nice... This hotel is very close to the vatician and also St Angelas Castle. We walked to the Pantheon,& Piazza Nova. You can pretty much walk anywhere you need to go from this hotel; however since it was so hot... we took quite a few taxi's.. it was worth it and not very much money.. We loved Rome and will be back... we will stay at this hotel again.. it was so nice and clean and the buffet breakfast... YUM!
“awesome hotel!!”
This was a great hotel!!!!!!! ... It was small but definately was on the same level of high end NY hotels. The decor is gorgeous ... its close to all the attractions (e.g. the vatican, the colloseum etc) ... eveything is in walking distance or a bus ride away ... the staff is amazing, they went above and beyond to help you .... I loved it and would recommend it highly! Dont hesitate to stay there...I definately will, my next time in Rome.

Navona - Pantheon, Rome, Italy: In the heart of the historic centre, Piazza Navona is Romes most famous square. Like a giant stage set, this is where the theatre of daily Roman life is re-enacted among the café tables that spill out onto the fountain-splashed piazza. Berninis baroque extravaganza, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiume, is the most celebrated of the three fountains. Nearby is the Pantheon one of Romes great symbols and a marvel of ancient architecture.
