Pros: The warm welcome from all the staff from reception through to pool staff and housekeeping, lovely! Beautifully furnished and laid out.
Location: Close enough to the centre but with enough distance to feel we could get away from the bustle

Always amazing

This is my 6th stay at this hotel and it's always amazing. Walking into our room late at night and having the best view of Rome is always amazing. Pool area is nice. Best breakfast variety I've see in a hotel. La Pergola is one of the best resto in the world. Can't wait until May 2015 for my next visit.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Cheaper food
Location: Not many things to close but the bus brings you straight to the heart of Rome.
All the staff always had a smile on their face and the conditions are spectacular overall I wish I lived there the kids had loads of fun and the food was amazing especially the restaurant on the 9th floor. I would recomend this to anyone if they are looking for places in Rome!

Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit Rome, it is 10 euros by taxi to the city but well worth it!!! Only slight gripe was the slow service at the hotel bar but amazing place to stay and very friendly staff

Superb top notch hotel - attentive service.

Posted 09-Aug-2014
Pros: Great ambience and location overlooking Rome. Fittings are to the highest standard. Food is of a high quality and service is attentive.
Cons: Extended shuttle service to the city (later departure from Rome City would help).
Location: Great garden setting and views over Rome. Vatican City is only 15 minutes away by taxi which cost under 10 euro.
Quality of service and staff are exceptional. The shuttle service into the city is a great boon. Perhaps a later service at 22:00 would help patrons that wish to spend an early evening in the city. Overall, this 5-star plus hotel offers a wonderful location from which to visit Rome. The gardens and pool are well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend the hotel to friends and family. Prices are what you would expect from one of the top hotels. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we've experienced and it's wonderful to be able to have breakfast and dine al fresco overlooking the beautiful pool area. A must for anyone staying at the Rome Cavalieri!

World Class Hotel With World Class Views

Posted 08-Aug-2014
Pros: The amazing views from the Imperial Rooms with Rome view and the staff.
Cons: The outside of the hotel is still stuck in the 1963 time warp. Perhaps a little face lift!
Location: The hotel is set in one of the seven hills of Rome. A shuttle bus from the hotel takes you into Rome and picks you up every hour. Or, a 30 minute walk
This was a treat for my partner's 50th Birthday and she always wanted to go to Rome. I booked this hotel after many months of research. I upgraded the room to King Imperial with Rome view on the seventh floor. This included full use of the Spa, outdoor pools and loungers and the Imperial Club Lounge. From the moment we pulled up at the entrance to the hotel we were made so welcome. The cases were taken from you by the Concierge and taken to your room. Checking in was simple and we was told about the facilities, then we was escorted to our room. The Imperial rooms are well worth the upgrade. The room is tastefully decorated which led onto a modest balcony, and wow......what a view! The whole of Rome and the Vatican was right before our eyes. I have never seen such an impressive view. It was truly amazing. Especially at night. The Imperial Club included all our drinks and light snacks which are constantly topped up from 7am to 11pm. Breakfast was served by the terrace as a buffet, which had everything you could think of from smoked salmon and Champagne to a full English. The staff and cleanliness of the hotel was second to none. The only thing we was a little disappointed on was that building work had started at the back of the hotel with scaffolding and the indoor spa pool was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. I think the building work could of been undertaken during the low season. All and all, a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff.
