“Great spot and very courteous staff!”
The location is great: a quick 10 minute walk from the main terminal (we arrived in Rome by plane at Ciampino, then took a shuttle to the terminal), and just a few blocks from a main bus stop from which we could reach just about any point in the city. It was also a very close walk to the Borghese Museum (our favorite site in the city). The room was large and clean, and although the mattresses were ready to be replaced, we had a fairly restful stay after spending many hours walking the city each day. If you're noise-sensitive, you should definitely request a room away from the street. The traffic is quite erratic, but there is consistent street noise through the night. There was a good, typical breakfast buffet: breads, cereal, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, coffee, juice, and a barista ready to make any espresso-based drink you wanted (or hot chocolate!). They also offered room service from the restaurant, which we didn't use. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They could easily provide directions and information about the bus routes, as well as a city map if necessary. We were quickly welcomed into the hotel, shown our room, and then treated well each time we stopped by the front desk or entered the restaurant.

“Not a 3 star!”
Firstly, WIFI is NOT complimentary, tried to make us pay E5! I attempted to talk to some of the staff members, and showed them the expedia page stating "COMPLIMENTARY WIFI" only to be told no its not, two staff members were short and rude with me. The next day I talked with another staff member who said yes it did cost, but after seeing the web page, talked to the manager for me and was able to give it to us for free- this staff member was very nice and made my stay here more pleasant! The entry is very nice! Leaves a lot to be disappointed in the rooms. I don't know how it is classed as a 3 star! Our Room: got a triple room- check the ceiling tiles by the air conditioning had water damage (stained yellowy), and lifting, 2 of the 3 beds were a nice firmness, the other was rock hard. The towels were badly folded and were not washed with softener, they were also rough. Second day towels were folded better and actually got 3 hand towels, although still no bath mat!! Medium outside noise, when windows are shut. A rather big walk to the attractions, about a 10-15 min walk from the train station- a bit far to wheel bags. But hotel shuttle to air port was great, cost us E12, cheaper than the train!! The breakfast was delicious though! A/C was good! If you are hardly going to be in your room, don't need free wifi, and expect the low quality of the rooms, this is a place for you!
“Hotel Priscilla Made For A Good Stay”
My family and I stayed in Hotel Priscilla. It was good value for money. The room was tidy, although I never could quite find the in-room safe. The beds were comfortable and though the view was nothing to write home about, wonsidering Rome's well-earned reputation as a noisy city, that turned into an advantage! The staff was helpful and cordial, especially the woman who ran the breakfast buffet. She made sure the food never ended! The restaurant served good, though not stellar cuisine; it made for a satisfactory meal our first night, when we had jet-lag. Location was ideal; ten minutes on foot from Termini and an easy bus to the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia (Via del Corso and connections on foot/bus to the Centro Storico) amd even to the Vatican. Overall this hotel is good value if you get in via a package. If you don't insist on either luxury or being in the Centro Storico---and there are good reasons to stay elsewhere than the Centro Storico-antiquities area----the Hotel Priscilla works well and earns your money.
“Would probably go back”
This was a very clean hotel and at the price a great base.. We were on the first floor at the front and the room appeared to have been very recently refurbished. The bathroom was clean and adequate with quite a good shower. However, because it faced the road it was quite noisy. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable on the first day, however on the saturday and sunday mornings there were far too many people for the restaurant and the restaurant staff. All in all, for the price we paid I would recommend it.
“Fantastic Location/Fantastic Rome”
We were there fore 4 days and I have to say we had a blast!! The hotel is what every 3 star hotel is but It was clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was continental and plentiful and I cannot find anything to complain about actually. It was conveniently located from the '62' bus stop which essentially is the route through many attractions into town (Plazza venezia, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, The River Tiber cruise/ Castel saint angelo etc) and terminating in Vatican City. Sit on that bus, with map in hand and come off when you are close to were you want to go. The truth is you can actually walk to the Spanish steps from the hotel if you wanted to. Tip about Vatican and Colosseum: I promise you, there is absolutely NO need to waste a fortune on 'jump the queue/ skip the line' offers. True, the queues are phenomenal at both locations, but this is usually in the morning till about 2-3pm. This is where the 'skip the line', chaps make their money. After this peak periods, you can just literally walk in, with little or no queue, buy your ticket and enjoy 2-3hours at either attraction which is the most you will do anyway. Finish off with dinner and any of the other night time attractions. Also the Roman forum ticket covers the Colosseum and the secret here is that this ticket is a 'skip the line' pass :). So a good way to do this will be Day 1; Roman forum morning, Colosseum afternoon. Day two; River Tiber cruise morning or any other thing, Vatican afternoon.
“GOOD FOR A NIGHT OR TWO ..IF YOURE CRUISING GREAT TO SPEND A NIGHT BEFORE CIVITAVECCHIA”
Good location near train station and fifteen minutes to Spanish steps..Good for a night or two in Rome...Does require english TV like CNN though....Spartan but clean nice and cheap..Great for the cruiser who wants a cheap hotel in Rome for a night or two..
“Great hotel but pick your room!”
This was a great hotel. The location was good, walking distance to Via Veneto (10 mins), Spanish Steps (15 mins) and Trevi Fountain (25 mins) and we then walked on to the Colosseum - although that took a bit longer it was still walkable and much better for sightseeing than a bus or Metro. Easy bus ride to the Vatican, although get off when you see St Peter's dome as the route stop names aren't that helpful. Hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful, breakfast was nice, buffet style. There were some nice restaurants locally as well. Be warned though - the room we had was clean and the bed was very comfortable BUT we had room 104, right next to the open plan 24 hour reception and lounge area. Noise echoed and, although it was relatively quiet after 11pm, we were woken at 6:30 am every morning by a persistently loud group of women seemingly all talking at once ( I kept hearing the occasional 'shush' but it made no difference to the noise levels). If you are offered that room (or any of the other 3 straight off the reception area) I would try to renegotiate to a room upstairs away from the noise if possible. Having said that, I would go back to the hotel again as that was the only issue.
“Comfortable and welcoming for Rome on a budget”
Rooms are small but comfortable - as good as you'd expect for a 3-star. Breakfast is plentiful and staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would return.
“hotel priscilla roma”
letto piccolo e piuttosto scomodo. l'hotel è situato all'interno di un condominio con appartamenti privati e l'arredo è più da pensione che da hotel a tre stelle. colazione media
