“Good hotel for the price”

The lady at the front desk during the day was very helpful and nice. Hotel was clean with a newer bathroom. The shower was small and tended to spray water into the bathroom. The bed was hard, but we didn't find any really comfortable beds in Europe, and we stayed at 8 different hotels. A nice breakfast every morning. When we were there, we enjoyed looking out onto the street and watching the activity. It did quiet down at night.

Getting around

I recommend the Hop on/Hop off bus. A great way to get aquainted with the city easily.

Must see

Must see is St. Peter's Basillica. Unbelievable. Also, of course, the Colosseum.

“Quint Hotel”

This was an extremely quint hotel the location was ideal walking distant from the Vatican & metro my wife & I really like it alot. The service was extremely helpful & the room was not as small as expected plus the breakfast was nice. The only con was it was very hard to find so make sure you get great directions to it!

Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was very good. Very clean, room was very large and the bathroom was big, too. The staff gave us some great helpful hints on what to see and do in Rome. Will recommend to my friends. Ciao.

“great B&B Exerience”

very good polite, helpful staff, safe still not working but offered to keep our passports in their office safe. staff went out of they way to help as they help book our airport transfer.

“Fantastic location - everything within 2 miles for sightseeing!!!”

The hotel was very clean and we had a lovely spacious room. Bathroom was nice and clean. Very hot so coming back to well air conditioned room was heaven!!! Only a 5 min walk from the Vatican and St Peter's square. Staff in the hotel were really helpful. We booked the airport to hotel transfer, they were waiting for us when we landed. Hotel location is fantastic, with most sites within a 2 mile radius.

Getting around

Rome is best seen on foot, so take some comfy shoes. There are lots of 'hop on hop off' buses that stop at all the key tourist destinations. I've done this in a few destinations and have been able to visit all the must see places. Reasonable prices.

What to pack

If visiting St Peter's Basilica or the Sistene Chapel dress respectfully, it is a holy place. For the Sistene Chapel, if you wear a short skirt and have bare shoulders you will not be allowed in. T shirts are allowed. Don't forget the comfy shoes.

“Great location and Friendly staff!”

Clean, secured, cozy and only two blocks from the Vatican. Great location, near the Metro, Ottaviano station - Red or A line. The breakfast was simple but a nice start to our day, good coffee. The staff was very friendly and with good suggestion for shopping, restaurants, etc. From the airport the taxi will cost about 55.00 euros.

“Good place to stay in Rome”

Everything was more then OK, staff very friendly and helpful, close to A metro, the Vatican and other places (by walking or metro/bus), very clean room and bathroom, cozy and quiet room.

Getting around

Get Roma Pass - it's worth (2 free entrance to any museum -except Vatican Museum- and 3 free days of transportation -metro,buses,tramway). From the airport FCO to downtown there is train Leonardo Express, it takes about 30 minutes to get to Termini where you can get on metro A i B.
