“Excellent place for the money, but a bit noisy”

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were more than comfortable for the price range. The location is also very convenient, being close to the metro station (and walking distance from major attractions). Then there is the great breakfast on the hotel roof (qith a close section for rainy days). The WiFi was also working nicely. The only problem is that it is located very close to the railway station, so you will be woke up by trains shortly before 7am. If you are an early bird (like I am), this is not a major problem... if you like sleeping in late, you likely won't like the place.

Hotel was basic but clean and excellent value for money. Good location for getting around Rome.

“"Too far if you love to walk"”

Wasn't thrilled with the location of the hotel, especially when the internet site stated that the hotel was near Piazza Navona (yes--if you consider a leisurely walk of about an hour and 15 minutes 'near'.) The hotel is near le Piramides, the southern end of Rome. The bus or train is necessary to get to any of the major neighborhoods or sites. As someone who loves to walk everywhere, this was disappointing. Staff was very helpful, hotel comfortable.

“Right in the heart of ancient Rome”

This hotel is situated in the best part of the city, surrounded by little restaurants and cafe's. The staff are helpful and friendly. If you stay here make sure you see the protestants cemetery. Very close to railway line but we slept after very busy days. Would stay there again.

“Not Impressed”

Hotel is located immediately next to the railway line. You are given ear plugs when checking in to counter the noise of the trains. Surrounding area is run down with rubbish accumulating on the pavements and graffti on buildings.

“Gerne wieder”

Das Primus Roma liegt südlich der Hauptsehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe der Metrostation Piramide. Von dort sind es nur ca. 5 min bis Termini und eine halbe Stunde bis zum Strand in Ostia; die Lage ist also ideal für Erkundungstouren. Das Hotel selbst ist ein älteres Baujahr, was man der Ausstattung z.T. auch ansieht. Auch in den Zimmern darf man für den Preis natürlich keinen Luxus erwarten, aber mein Zimmer war geräumig und wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Jakuzzi-Wanne im Bad war nach einem anstrengenden Sightseeing-Tag ein echtes Plus. Das Safe im Zimmer ist übrigens kostenfrei. Zwei kleine Mankos: das Primus Roma liegt direkt an den Bahnschienen; die Züge sind also deutlich zu hören. Mich persönlich hat es nicht so gestört, aber wer da empfindlich ist... Zweitens sprachen einige Mitarbeiter nicht so gut englisch. Ich kann das Primus Roma allen empfehlen, die günstig unterkommen wollen und ansonsten viel unterwegs sind. Ich war 2 Wochen (allein) dort und würd es wieder buchen.
