“Ok hotel if you have a car, but don't try to get here on foot!!”

The hotel itself is new and very clean. There is a great breakfast that is included in the price, and there is a bar with good prices and a restaurant for dinner with good prices and good food. The restaurant staff are too busy and so service is not very good, but they are trying and are very nice if you get their attention. Our room was small, which is fine, but it smelled of animal urine for some reason. The mattress is VERY firm, but still decent. The walls are thin and we could hear the people next to us just having normal conversation as well as the TV on. As for the location, it is very close to the airport, and it is only 2 km from the town of Ciampino, but it is on a very busy road with NO sidewalk. We walked to the hotel from the airport and had to walk along a busy highway with no sidewalk and trash all over the side of the road. It was gross and scary. Same goes if you try to walk to the town of Ciampino. Incredibly scary road. So basically your only safe option is to take their shuttle to the airport or town for 2.50 euros per person each way. Not a terrible deal, but I would much rather have walked the 2km and saved 5 euros a day. Also, internet and tv are not free. So if you have a car, this hotel is fine. And I really did appreciate the free breakfast. But the cold, small room and the noisy neighbors were not so great. Neither was paying for the shuttle because the roads were so unsafe to walk on.

“only good for one night”

This hotel is in the middle of no where and the shuttle service is expensive to the airport even though they are only 1 Km away. Nothing is around it and once you are there, you are stuck there. The rates are not that bad, but only good if you are using the airport. I was impressed by the rooms. Wifi is not free, If you are going there, take the train to Ciampino, then take the aiport shutte for only 1.20/pp and get off right in front of the hotel, just ask the bus driver to stop and he will.

Hotel sviluppato in orizzontale ( per l'estrema vicinanaza all'aeroporto di Ciampino ), stile Motel degli Stati Uniti, l'auto si parcheggia fuori la stanza, nel complesso accettabile, il tutto legato al costo, che non è mai alto. Posizione scomoda per chi non ha l'auto, è isolato e in una zona molto periferica. Pulizia ok, personale gentile e cordiale. Si sentono gli aerei. Ok per chi viaggia in auto e per lavoro, posizione a sud di Roma , vicino al raccordo anulare.

“Ligging hotel Palacavicchi”

De ligging op 1 km van het vliegveld Chiampino.is praktisch, echter de zichtbaarheid vanaf de weg is slecht. Wij hebben aangegeven in het hotel dat de bewegwijzering verbeterd moet worden. Wij hebben met de huurauto 1 uur rondgereden. Rome in ging erg makkelijk Later gingen wij nog familie op 250 km verder bezoeken.
