“Good hotel, very central to everything, 5 min walk from termini station”
travelled in january so no issue with air conditioning, first room shown was nice size but inward facing so a bit dark, asked if balcony room was avaible and was then shown this by bell boy, much nicer room an well worth moving, bar staff really nice, an enjoyed the stay, would recommend
“Excellent base for exploring Rome”
This was our second stay at the Diana Roof Garden. The situation of the hotel - being near (roughly ten minutes walk allowing for the wayward Roman traffic) Termini railway station - means that getting into and out of the city with luggage in tow is easy and without attendant stresses. The service is unobtrusive yet efficient, rooms are air-conditioned and comfortably furnished and breakfast at the roof-top restaurant unforgettable. You can sip an espresso, look across the city skyline and see St Peter's shimmering in the morning sun. What better icon of Rome can there be?
“Enjoyable stay”
The Hotel Diana Roof Garden was in a good location - easy walk from Termini station and most of the sights. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful. The only disappointment was the that the roof garden restaurant was not open while we were there.
“central but quiet”
Perfectly adequate although the roof terrace was closed when we stayed
“Exceeded expectations”
Room was a good size for Europe. The breakfast each morning was fantastic outside in the rooftop garden. Overall very impressed.
“Lovely hotel in brilliant location”
We had a lovely stay at the hotel diana roof garden. Our room was quite big, with brilliant air conditioning. The roof garden is amazing, with brilliant views of The Vatican. The main Rome train/metro station and bus station is only a 5 minute walk up the road which is really helpful, and if you didnt want to take transport most sights are within walking distance. Overall, had a brilliant time and would definatly stay here again! 100% recomend!
“fantastic well located hotel at good price”
Returned from Rome and Hotel Diana today. We chose the hotel by location and previous reviews which led us to think hotel would be just ok. However it was far better than expected. I had a single room on the 6th floor which was larger than the average single and spotlessly clean. The shower room was small but was also spotless and looked to have been recently refurbished. Pity there was no view from the room but would not have expected one at this price in a major Europeen city. The area is fine although not many streets away from a seedy area. We walked about at night and felt safe. Location is great for getting about city . Overall a great hotel hard to find a fault.
“Very impressed”
On arriving at the hotel, we were impressed by the service and quality of the hotel from the start. It is situated within a 5 minute walk of the Metro and well located for walking to all the main tourist sites if desired. The room was very tidy (not one of the largest as we noticed other rooms to be) and provided all that we required. The roof garden was a delight, having our breakfast up there all the time and dinner twice. I would highly recommend this hotel for the price and location alone. Other feedback relates to attitude of staff - they were always very polite and efficient, any 'attitude' just provides to the cultural experience - go to the coffee shops round the Spanish Steps for attitude!!
“A brilliant 3 night stay”
We went to Rome to explore, myself, husband and two daughters aged 20 an 23. The hotel is ideally placed near to the station but not within the more seedy area further down the side of the station - we saw this as we came out of the station by the side exit. We dropped our bags off within 10 minutes of arriving at the station and then were very pleasantly surprised. Our rooms were spacious each with their own balcony. Staff were friendly and polite, they spoke good english. The breakfast room was well appointed and a wide choice of food was available. The hotel really is ideally placed for sightseeing and we did Rome in 4 days. On the last day after we checked out in the morning, spent the day around Rome then we returned to the hotel in the afternoon to get a meal from the small brasserie before collecting our cases and heading off to the airport. An ideal setup. I would strongly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to see Rome in a few days.
“Hotel Diana Roof Garden Rome”
A comfortable clean hotel very central for exploring Rome - would definately recommed this hotel to all travellers
