“Lovely city but not so for hotel”

Holiday was fantastic apart from couple of things. The hotel provided a transfer service to the local metro station but on two occassions they failed to pick us back up at in the agreed manor. cost us 50 euros to return back to hotel in taxi. other than that fab city.

“Very pleased”

The hotel was very clean and comfortable.It was conveniently situated for Ciampino airport and the metro station at Anagnina.I would recommend this hotel as very good value for money.

ottima soluzione qualità - prezzo . Posizione periferica ma molto tranquilla. Soggiorno anche se breve molto soddisfacente. Camera pulita e con i comfort necessari. No traffico che disturba. Pienamente soddisfatti

“Hotel Città 2000 - cadente e nell'estrema periferia. sconsigliato!”

Review in Italian and English: ======================= L'hotel si trova nella periferia est di Roma, in posizione scomoda e poco servita dai mezzi pubblici. Il personale è gentile, ma le condizioni esterne dell'hotel ed interne delle camere (sono stato più volte in questo hotel solo xkè adiacente a casa di un parente) sono disastrose! Molte camere hanno we e bidet su corpo unico. rubinetterie, docce, ed in generale bagni in pessime condizioni. Ristorante convenzionato lontano vari km, caro e non di particolare qualità. Scelto perchè di proprietà dei gestori dell'hotel. The hotel is located in the est suburb, very far from the city center and from the main attractions. The hotel and rooms conditions are very poor. The public transport is not reachable in a easy way. The hotel has an agreement with a restaurant that unfortunately is very far (some miles). It's not suggested to stay here to visit Rome.

“Wunderschöner Urlaub”

Das Hotel ist unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Frühstück erfüllt seinen Zweck. Die Lage ist zwar etwas außerhalb und in einer nicht so reizvollen Gegend, die Verkehrsanbindung aber ist sehr gut. Vor dem Hotel fahren jeweils zwei Buslinien (auch in 5- 10 Minutentakt) zur Metro. Diese fährt minütlich, so dass man nach einer knappen Stunde am Bahnhof in Rom ist. Von dort kommt man dann überall hin. Die Fahrkarten sind günstig (z. B. eine Woche 23 € für den gesamten Nahverkehr einschl. Zug) Wir würden auf jeden Fall das Hotel wieder buchen.

Area recommendations
Unbedingt Tivoli (Villa D'Este) und die Gegend um Friscati. Es sind wunderschöne Gebiete, wo man sich von dem doch starken Trubel von Rom erholen kann und die Ruhe im wunderschön angelegten Garten der Villa D'Este) genießen kann.
Getting there
Wir haben die Erfahrung gemacht, dass wir den von uns vor ab gebuchten privaten Taxi-Service nicht mehr nutzen werden. Vielleiche lag es an der Reisezeit vor Ostern, doch wir mussten 2, 5 Stunden am Flughafen sitzen bevor wir abgeholt werden. Zurück sind wir dann auf eigene Faust. Super Anbindung mit einem Zug. Fährt u. a. vom HBF von Rom, ist weitaus günstiger ( 11 € pro Fahrt) und fährt direkt in den Flughafen.
Getting around
Das Bus, Zug und Metroverkehrsnetz von Rom ist super ausgebaut und auch sehr einfach. Wenn man sich vorab über die Ticketmöglichkeiten informiert ist es auch sehr billig. Wir hatten z. B. eine Wochenkarte für 23 € p. P. für alle Bezirke einschließlich der Nahverkehrszüge

“tranquille mais un peu excentré”

Hôtel très bien entretenu dans un quartier tranquille mais un peu loin du centre ville de Rome. Transport en commun un peu loin de l'hôtel et 40 minutes minimum pour arriver à la gare de Rome.

“Bon hôtel en périphérie de Rome”

Hotel très sympa. Un peu vieillot peut-être mais correct. Un peu bruyant à partir de 8 heures du matin. Le personnel est serviable. Nous sommes arrivés à 21 heures et la personne présente à l'accueil nous a commandé 2 pizze. Navette gratuite pour se rendre à Anagnina ; sans aucun doute, si nous devions retourner à Rome, nous irons dans cet hôtel. Juste pour info pour se rendre à l'hôtel. Depuis Termini, prendre le métro ligne A jusqu'à Anagnina puis le bus 500 (recommandé) ou 046. (le dimanche et les jours fériés le 500 ne tourne pas. Arrêt à Terranova juste en dessous de l'hôtel. De Termini (centre Rome), il faut compter 45 mn environ. Le billet de bus-métro est valable sur tout le trajet et ne coute qu'1 Euro !!! (attention de ne pas prendre de billets COTRAL qui ne sont valables que sur des lignes

“Frühstücksbuffet war überraschend gut.”

Günstige Lage, da in unmittelbarer Umgebung der Autobahnen. Navigationsgerät ist zum Auffinden des Hotels und der Autobahnzubringer unbedingt wichtig.
