“Great Boutique Hotel”
Hotel staff were great - very helpful. The included breakfast buffet was very good -- also provided egg dishes from menu. Convenient location, around corner from Via Venetto.
“Convenient location”
This is a great small hotel for a visit to Rome. Conveniently located, walking distance from all the tourist attractions. Attentive staff, good breakfast and a clean, nicely furnished (but rather small) room - but hey you are in the centre of Rome)! We would return.
“Great Hotel, Great City”
We stayed at the hotel for two nights for a weekend away for my girlfriend's birthday. The hotel is very close to the Barberini metro station, which made getting around the city very easy. The staff spoke very good English and were helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was modern, comfortable and well laid out. The hotel is an old building, so the rooms aren't huge, but this wasn't an issue for us. The complimentary breakfast buffet was brilliant! I would stay at this hotel again and definitely reccomend it.
“Would stay again”
Really great hotel and such nice staff. Fabulous central location
“Nice boutique hotel”
My daughter and I viewed our stay at the Hotel Barocco as the highlight of our visit to Rome! The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt right at home. The hotel breakfast is one of the best we've had as it even included eggs cooked to order ... and the bar area was a fun, cozy place to hang out before or after dinner. The location is very good ... within easy walking distance of Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps and the hop-on, hop-off bus stopped right nearby. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and making dinner reservations. There were several good restaurants within a few blocks and the area seemed safe to walk in at night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Rome!
“Good service”
We reserved a room that smelled pretty bad because of some cleaning that was recently done. We were turned off and requested a new room. Hotel manager was very nice to upgrade us to a better room and from that point onwards, our stay was very comfortable. Hotel is located in Piaza Barberini and is offers very convenient access to Metro and bus stops. Hotel receptionists were very friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast is nice too.
“Ideal location, great room, great service”
A perfect location for exploring Rome. We stayed in the annex building - The room was large, beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely big bathroom with separate bath and shower. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
“Excellent Rome hotel”
Great location, good staff, tasteful modern rooms and a good breakfast included to save on expensive eating out. Would go back.
“Great location”
As other fellow travelers mention, the hotel is very well located, with easy access to metro and most of the main tourist attractions in Rome. Our hotel room was small, but very well appointed and the bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was also very good and according to my girlfriend, the coffee was the best she had on our whole trip. The staff at the front desk was very attentive and helpful.
“A Hidden Gem in Piazza Barberini”
Beautiful hotel in an ideal location, with extremely attentive staff. The hotel is in a fantastic location on Piazza Barberini with easy access to the Metro and taxiis. Very close walking distance to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Outstanding service from the hotel staff who were extremely attentive at all times.

Spanish Steps - Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy: Romes largest, most spectacular fountain, the Trevi Fountain is a baroque extravaganza, its ancient sea gods and gushing water dominating a tiny piazza. Immortalised in Fellinis film, La Dolce Vita, this is the place to toss your coins to ensure your return to the Eternal City. The three streets radiating from the piazza lead to the historical centre and sights of the Quirinale one of the original seven hills.
