Too many things to mention room was damp our clothes got damp and was very poor in total literally a step up from a tent honestly with all my heart no joke. But is a lovely area and our friends cabin through eurocamp (on same site) was beautiful! but the camp fabulous bungalows are horrendous avoid them like the plague

Perfect for both Rome and the beach.

Fantastic place to see Rome and the beach with a great pool to relax in after sight seeing. The pool could stay open a bit later than 6:00. The staff gave my daughter a birthday card with some free treats which was a lovely touch. The restaurant was great as was the shop. We would definitely recommend this place.

Clean, big, fun, nice atmosphere.

Very pretty campsite. Big! Lots of good facilities. Washing machines €4.00 a load. Good pools (but not quite 'great') Very clean chalet accommodation. Lovely atmosphere. Easy bus to Rome. Great aircon. Very good, free wifi (in public areas) lovely staff. Reasonably priced ice lollies, coffee and pizza but food, icecream and drinks around pool A bit pricey. Shower in our chalet/mobile home was rubbish. Others may have been fine?? Overall it's only the second campsite that I've been to that I would go back to! Would definitely recommend.

cheap and cheerful

We recently spent 10 nights camping here. The campsite itself was like a community with lots of amenities. It was a very peaceful area with lots of tall trees and paved walkways. The camp grounds felt very safe and family orientated. You get WiFi by paying 5 euro for a 15 day code and is accessible in the common areas (near pool and restaurant). The only major complaint I had was getting into central Rome from here. Basically you have to walk 5-8 minutes from the campsite on a tiny strip of land right beside a very busy road to get to an intersection where you try not to get hit and dart out to the middle island where you push the crosswalk button to cross to the bus stop. FYI (buses dont require transfers) take the bus to the last stop to access the metro. Now what gets on my nerves is the very dangerous narrow pathway to the busstop from the campsite. The campsite should figure out a way to pave it and put a guard rail. Also getting back to the campsite can be a bit of an ordeal also. The bus driver doesn't announce the stop and the tiny blue camping fabulous sign is difficukt to spot. Other things to note are: the Pompeii and Naples tour we bought from the campsite was just OK but if you do decide to take the tour watch out for the tour guide we brought our own lunch and the restaurant they took us too was VERY rude to us and so was the tour guide. They basically treat you like dirt.

A WEEK IN ROME OVER WHITSUN

Posted 02-Jun-2014
Pros: Clean challet, helpful staff, easy access into Rome.
Cons: A bit more night live/ activity in the Bar over Whitsun Week.
Location: What can I say, you have all of Rome on your doorstep!!!! Book all your entrance tickets on line befor you go to avoid queing in the sun.
Arrived late at night about 12.30am, my Wife, myself, and 3 adult kids(bank of Dad.) Was greeted with a warm welcome easy book in. 5 bed challet was very clean with all nesessary equipment. Staff very frindly and helpfull, great pool area very clean with non slip paving and non slip cushioned vinal pool liner on both pools. Barman very helpfull we all got on well with him also restaurant on site served great food at resonable prices. Most challets/ tents are under the canopy of of fir trees so nice and cool on hot days.

Excellent Location and Great Place to Stay At!!!!

Posted 30-Oct-2013 on Hotels.com
We had a great vacation in part because of the wonderful place we stayed at. The location was very convenient and perfect for us. We were a bit concern as well because we had never stayed a camp ground but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I definitely recommend this place specially if you are on a budget and have several people traveling with you.
