"GREAT hotel in Rome"
I stayed here with a friend for a night in Rome, and we weren't sure what to expect because we booked it last minute. The front desk staff was immediately helpful and let us go to our room around 1pm. We got to our room, and it was clean with any amenities we needed. The windows completely blackout light with a switch, and the pillows weren't the terrible pillows we were used to in Europe! The shower had great water pressure. We ordered room service, which was brought up to our room within 20 minutes. The food is GREAT so we decided to eat dinner at the hotel that night. The waitress and kitchen were extremely accommodating with celiac disease and other allergies. The rooftop view is AMAZING if you have a chance to get dinner up there. This hotel is a hidden gem around Rome touristy sights, and the staff remembers people's names and room numbers to always try to help.

"Small, classy modern boutique hotel "
Nice location near campo do fiori and piazza Navona. PROS -Beautiful, clean and sleek modern look. -Room was very nice, probably the most modern I've stayed at on 5th trip to Rome. -Cute and romantic small rooftop serving dinner and phenomenal drinks, DJ playing chill music at night, open til 1-130am. -Simple and nice included breakfast with option to pay and order additional food. -Overall, staff was very kind and helpful CONS -Air Conditioning worked fine but could have been a bit colder considering it was 100 degrees out. -In Room WiFi was not good at all, likely due to thick walls. If you are dependent on WiFi, this hotel may not be the best option, though it did work just fine in common areas.

"Excellent hotel, close to Ancient Rome"
We were very lucky to get a room in this hotel at the last minute. Having experienced a problem with my original booking at another hotel, it put our visit to Rome back on track. On arrival I was greeted by very friendly staff who checked me in swiftly and set me up with a complimentary tiramisu and ice cold water. The Superior Room we had was opposite the main Hotel, and was very beautiful, with a fabulous shower and lovely bed and bedding. WiFi was a little intermittent, but I have to be honest I didn't really need it, so didn't bother to see if I was doing something wrong, or follow up on that. Breakfast was included, and served on a very sociable small roof terrace. Continental buffet, tea and coffee, and a choice of cooked eggs. It set us up perfectly for the rest of the day. The staff were lovely, and conversation between guests flowed easily. There's also a very pretty 'roof-top' garden tucked away out the back. Every evening there was a very civilised 'happy hour', again served on the roof terrace, which was great for another chat with other guests before popping out for dinner. Check out the hotel's hidden gem behind reception during your stay. The staff really took care of us, and we really cannot fault this lovely venue!

"Treat yourself like royalty"
I have been traveling throughout Europe for many, many years and stayed at dozens of different hotels, B&B's and similar lodgings. I can say that Villa Spalletti is my number one hotel not just in Italy, but maybe all of Europe. Yes, it is expensive, so if you're looking for a budget place to lay your head, look elsewhere. But, if you want a memorable stay, this is the place. The mansion itself is perfectfully positioned and walking distance to most of the top sights in the Via Veneto/Piazza Berbini area, yet avoids the loud and touristy streets that also populate this area. It is tucked away on a side street directly opposit the Quirnavle Gardens. The large public rooms (libraries, lounges and salons are beautifully appointed and furnished with antiques and artwork. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, but also modernized. The bathrooms are sumptuous. This is not a place that nickels and dimes you. Breakfast is included and it is lavish by any standards. It's a continental buffet with many kinds of cheeses, meats, breads, cereals and fruits, but the kitchen staff will custom prepare most any style eggs or omelets you want with bacon or sausage. Everything in the mini-bar is free. Wif-fi is free. The help is blessedly all extremely fluent in English and very helpful, arranging for cars, reservations, recommendations and whatever else you need. I would say that it is not for families with small children or people who are looking for the budget hotel experience.

"Nice hotel up a hill"
Lovely hotel with good amenities - pool much needed in the heat. Close to the Vatican with wonderful views of Rome from further up the hill - worth the walk up to see. Downside is that the room we were in just had a view of the neighbouring street with not much natural light.

"High end boutique hotel with amazing staff "
we arrived after a 10 hour flight traveling with a 5 year old and seven year old and found out that I had booked a room that would only hold 2 people. Within minutes they had sent about five in staff to meet us in our room, added a twin bed with new bedding and made sure that we would all be comfortable. I was so pleased! The rest of our stay followed suit... AMAZING!!! we can't wait to come back xo
