"Elegant art-deco villa in a quiet neighborhood"
The Lord Byron is one of a kind with feel of stepping back as a house guest in a well run villa in the 1920s or 30s. Although the neighborhood is just outside the usual tourist center, it is surprisingly convenient to many locations and offers many opportunities for pleasant walks.

"Fantastic hotel - would definitely recommend!"
Lovely hotel - perfect for our 4 day stay in Rome. Great location - 10 minutes from Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain and 20 minutes from the Coliseum. Hotel itself is lovely - fantastic decor, wonderful staff and lovely food and drink. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Rome.

"A hotel with great staff and excellent location"
Stayed 7 nights in April. Wonderful hotel for a trip to Rome. Here is why. First, an excellent location, walking distance to major sites, across the square is metro and bus stops plus a stop for all hop on hop off buses. Secondly, and most importantly, the staff is excellent. From check in to check out they are there to assist you, often without you even having to ask. The included breakfast is abundant and the breakfast staff is great. In fact this hotel is all about service. They have a large staff for a small hotel and their sole purpose is to make you comfortable. Rooms are serviced twice daily and the little touches are great. A bowl of fruit on arrival, a gratis bottle of wine, gorgeous last night cookies, and handwritten notes expressing appreciation for your stay. Third, the room is very comfortable, modern bathrooms, and the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced at a hotel (including Westin). Good windows that block noise. Rooms are small compared to American hotels but certainly in line with size of most European hotels. I'll definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

"Nice hotel, very well situated."
An excellent hotel, situated within walking distance of every monument and tourist attraction within Rome. Only 40 minutes walk from the Vatican and less than 10 from the Colosseum. Lots of good restaurants, well within walking distance of the hotel. All the staff at the hotel were very helpful, and upon booking into the hotel, was given a map, and a detailed description of where everything was in the town and how far a walk it was away. Good choice of breakfast available.

"Off the beaten path"
The hotel staff was attentive and helpful in telling us about the local sites and places to eat. The room was clean, if just a little small. The bathroom was standard for Europe. The bed was two twins pushed together. The roof top lounge was a little disappointing in its comfort. The elevator cannot go to all the floors; you have to take two different elevators for some of the floors, i.e., the 4th.
