“What a gem”

Beautiful hotel about 10 minutes from the Termini Station and most of the main attractions are within walking distance. We were given a free up grade on our room and free drinks on the roof terrace on our arrival. The room and bathroom were modern and very clean and comfortable with everything you need, slippers, good quality toiletries and the free mini bar was a nice touch. Good choices for breakfast and the service and staff were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

“Good all-round hotel”

There are several positives for this hotel: 1) The location, on the Via Nazionale, is just perfectly placed. It's an easy walk to all the major attractions, including the Colloseum, the Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps etc (all around 15-20 mins). We even walked to the Vatican, which took around 30 minutes going along the river (after crossing at the Isola Tiberina) - although friends used a very cheap and easy Metro to get there instead. In general Rome is a compact city for sightseeing. 2) The staff are really fantastic and helpful. They are the friendliest we have found in Italy so far. 3) For its quality, the hotel was reasonably priced. 4) Free minibar! Also breakfast is excellent (and included in our room rate). Minor disadvantages: 1) Our triple room was on the small side, with not much clothes storage. Very nicely fitted out and clean though. 2) Water pressure was very variable - showers were slightly challenging and baths take a while to run. 3) Our room was uncomfortably warm. Even in early December it can be quite warm and the aircon was not on (This may be different in the height of summer). We opened the windows to cool off a bit and to be fair we did not complain about this to management. 4) Our room was at the centre of the hotel but our friends, who had a room at the front, said that road/city noise was a bit loud, especially on Saturday night - but it I guess that goes with the convenience!

“Excellent option in Rome”

Hotel Artemide is an excellent option in Rome. I would stay there again. The location is excellent. The hotel restaurant provides good options. The roof top bar is a great meeting place, with good wine and cocktail options. The only issue was the heat in the room. The temperature is controlled by the hotel so it tends to get hot in the evenings. The issue was resolved with opening the windows and a fan that was provided by the hotel. Overall a great stay!.

“Great Location would defintely visit again”

Extremely helpful staff, room clean and confortable, room cleaned and tidied every day clean towels provided daily, breakfast choices good with attentive and helpful staff. Location was very good within easy walking distance of key attractions such as the Collesuem, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Would recommend to anyone.

“The only place I would stay at in Rome...”

I researched hotels in Rome for months prior to my honeymoon and settled on the Artemide. It was a better choice once we arrived. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice sized (for European standards). The bathrooms were large and spotless and they offered an extensive array of toiletries for no cost. Since it was our honeymoon, when we arrived they had left us a bottle of Champagne in the room with chocolates. A very nice touch. The room also had a mini bar that was re-stocked daily with soday, beer, fruit juice and water. We walked everywhere so the waters came in handy every day. Speaking of walking, the hotels location cannot be any more perfect. There is an M station within 5 minutes, Termini train station within 10, and literally you can walk 20 minutes in any direction and be at all of the major sites. This saved us a ton of money since we didnt have to cab it anywhere. With such convenience to the subway, if we needed to get somewhere quickly, we just hopped on it for 1 euro. They hotel also had a rooftop terrace that we visited twice. It was November but they had space heaters out there for use to stay warm. The view was great and you can see St. Peters in the distance. They also gave us a 50% off voucher for the resturant, and in my opinion, was the best meal we had all week (get the filet since you have a discount). The Hotel Artemide exceeded my expectations for our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone reading this review. Ciao!!

“Five star hotel!!!”

we expected so much from this hotel because of the many excellent reviews. Truly, it didn't disappoint! the Hotel is close to everything; the american breakfast buffet was hearty! the mini bar in our room was stocked daily. we travelled with our two year old, so having snacks in our room at all times was very helpful. the staff are very nice and caring -- they provided milk for us by the liter for free :-) we'll definitely come back to this hotel, two thumbs up! ... very much recommended to friends, family, and everyone who are planning to travel to Rome.

“Would definitely go back”

Extremely friendly and helpful staff who were patient with us all the times showing us were to go and what to do in Rome. The Hotel is clean and offers everything one would need in a hotel. It is conveniently located and close to all the shopping and points of interest. The hotel had a full breakfast buffet, and the food was plentiful and of excellent quality and taste.

“Great Location”

Excellent location, easy walk to all sites, 30 minutes to the furthest that of the Vatican. 10 minute walk from the train station. Grande old hotel in tip top shape. Great rooftop terrace. Excellent service, only issue is the walls are very thin.

“Very nice but can be noisy”

The hotel and their staff are top notch. The only thing to be careful about a good night sleep is rooms on the front of the hotel are on a busy street and the windows are not tight so the street noise comes in.
