“Classy hotel with excellent staff”
From the minute we walked into Hotel Albani, we were welcomed with open arms. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when we asked about the best ways to get around Rome and where all the best restaurants were. The hotel itself is gorgeous inside and set in a quiet area away from the bustle of the city centre but still close enough to explore Rome. I would however, suggest taking taxis at night as it is inexpensive and the safest option. Also be careful when using the buses as it is only a few stops away to the city centre but to get the same bus home you do not get dropped off at the same stop as it is a one-way street so we ended up missing our stop and being on the bus for an hour while it went back to the beginning of the route. All in all, a highly recommended hotel and a weekend I will never forget!
“Great Hotel”
Nice Hotel for the price coustumer service greathave parking and breakfasti recomended
“Best value in Rome”
Modern and chic. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Clean, spacious rooms and large bath room. This hotel is a little off the beaten path with regards to tourist attractions. But in a safe, desirable business district. Visitors to Rome can catch local transportation from here. Perfectly ok for people who like to walk. Cleanliness and modernness of this hotel make it a great place to call home for the value it provides. My travel party consisted of husband, wife and adult son. We had ample room to spread out, even with 3 large suit cases.
“Excellent Hotel”
The Albani is an excellent hotel. Other reviews appeared accurate. Staff was helpful. Hotel was exceptionally clean and modern. Location is good, as long as you use 86, 92 or other buses to connect with Termini.
“Good place for inexpensive lodgings in Rome”
Hotel is a little worn, but for an Italian hotel, the rooms are relatively large and comfortable. The staff is accomodating.
“Would definitely stay here again.”
A really good, modern, clean and friendly hotel. Slightly out of the city centre but we knew that when we booked it. Was still an easy walk to Trevi Fountain and for the Vatican or Colloseum was a cheap taxi journey. Would definitely stay here again if i ever go back to Rome.
“Value for money”
Good hotel nice quite room good breakfast dissent prices A bit off the center but it's not a problem I'll stay there again ...
“Beautiful hotel, great prices”
We thought the hotel was excellent value for our money. The bathroom was amazing even by North American standards... Our room had a small balcony that overlooked a big park - which we put to good use by relaxing there every night after a long day of sight seeing. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is willing to spend a bit more time to get to the main sites, either by bus or by walking.
“Fantastic Hotel”
The hotel is amazing and the staff are so friendly. Our room was fantastic and the maid serrvice is amazing. There is a huge amount of choice for breakfast and is served until 10.30am. The staff are all friendly and willing to help in anyway needed. We were able to leave our bags in a secure area of the hotel on check out until the car (arranged by the hotel) arrived to take us to the airport. The hotel is very clean and modern. Although it is about a half an hour walk to the spanish steps (about 45 mins to colloseum and 50 mins to vat ican city) it is a nice walk through the park and there is also a bus, tram and metro service available close to the hotel. Overall this hotel was all we wanted and more and we would not hesitate on returning.
“Three day stay at Albani Hotel Roma”
I was impressed by the courteousness of all the hotel personnel, from the desk clerks, restaurant personnel to the bell hops. Our room was kept clean by daily maid service. Every question we asked of the front desk personnel was answered to our satisfaction--they were eager to help us. The daily morning breakfast was plentiful. However, the scrambled eggs on the buffet were very "runny" and not appetizing. Not too many choices at all if you are a cereal eater. The waitresses were very polite and at the ready with all the coffee or hot beverages we wanted. Only 2 disappointments--the elevator cars, and this I noticed about all the hotel elevators in Rome and in other parts of Italy, are extremely small, compared to the wider elevator cars we enjoy in the New Jersey/New York area. Also, we were quite pleased to find some cold soft drinks and beer in the small refrigerator in our room at Albani Roma. However, the surprise was that this was not included in our hotel expense, and so we paid extra for what we drank at check-out. All in all, we were quite pleased with this hotel. The biggest advantage was being within walking distance to all the bus lines connecting to different parts of Rome. The area was safe for walking around in the evening. It was not hard at all to find shops and restaurants, although the restaurants in this area tend to be expensive. We spent over 80 euros (over $100) on simple dinners--one course with wine and mineral water included, but no dessert.
