“Very near town”

We liked this aparthotel very much. Bus 916 from the nearby Piazza Pio runs every 10 minutes or so (the only time we waited longer was during the riots last Saturday. In an unusual occurrence, our way back from the Colloseum was diverted by the manifestations last Saturday). All the sights are wonderful - St Peter's basilica, the Vatican, the Colloseum, the Pantheon, Capitolini museums, etc. Caravaggio is one of my favourite painters and we saw a few. The Adagio City Aparthotel Dehon was really nice, with high pine trees between us and the dual carriageway some 200 metres away, far enough away not to be a problem, no noticeable noise at all. Other guests are mainly middle-aged tourists or business people and families with children - no all-night parties! Would definitely go back, and since my wife made a wish while throwing a coin over her shoulder into the Trevi fountain we may have to!

“Nice hotel”

The hotel is situated in a quiet area which is served by a reasonable bus service into central Rome. The local shops, bars and cafes were mostly closed for the summer during our stay but I imagine that the area is quite vibrant at other times of year. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the hotel itself well designed. There is ample parking for vehicles and there is a restaurant and swimming pool on site. The apartments (the term bedsit is more appropriate as the only area sectioned off is the bathroom) are airconditioned and spacious each having a large verandah; ours overlooked the gardens and pool area but that caused minimal disturbance. The bathroom was nicely appointed with a wonderful shower but be aware that a change of towels costs 8 Euros per towel. We stayed five nights and weren't entitled to any free change of towels. Also take your own pool towels as these are charged at 5 Euros per towel. A change of bed linen is also 8 Euros. If you stay for less than a week there is no room cleaning, nor is there any provision of even a broom to sweep up crumbs. The kitchen area is not separated from the bedroom and there is no working extractor above the stove (two rings), there is no combinaltion of pans that fit on the rings at the same time. There is no cupboard to store food but the refridgerator is quite large.The bed was comfortable but inexplicably there was only one reading light. We were supplied with one tea towel, a replacement costs 8 Euros!

“An oasis in Rome”

This hotel gave us the best of both worlds. We had a roomy, clean apartment with a large balcony. We did not use the cooking facilities but the fridge was handy. The tranquility of the pool and garden was a real bonus and the opportunity to relax poolside in the heat of the day was a highlight of the stay and gave an extra dimension to a city break. We ate in the hotel twice and enjoyed good quality food at prices below the going rate for the centre of Rome. Situated to the west of the Rome central, there was a 15 minute walk to the Vatican. Public transport was available nearby. We had no trouble getting a taxi but it is worth checking that they are on a meter.

“great for family of 4”

a beautiful place to stay [like staying at a villa] ; the pool is super [but bring your own towels], especially after doing rome sights in the July heat; kitchenette was great for cooking meals [grocery close by]; The bus stops take some work figuring out, but the hotel is a just a bus ride away from most sights. If you can handle bus maps and walking, you can't do better. staff excellent; one of our favorite hotel stops [5 nights] in our 4 week trip.

Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr netter Empfang, schöner Pool, der extra für uns geöffnet wurde (2.10 war eigentlich schcon geschlossen), frühstück in ordnung, bequeme betten! sehr schön sehr grün:-)

“optimales hotel für rom-trip mit kindern”

kann man nur empfehlen familienzimmer (mit separatem kinderzimmer) genügend groß kochnische funktional und ausreichend ausgestattet separates wc und bad praktisch öffentliche verkehrsmittel (bus) gut erreichbar mit akzeptablen wartezeiten (ca . 5 minuten, selten 15 minuten) und fahrtdauern zu vatikan/ innenstadt (10-20 minuten) pool ist toll nach anstrengender sightseeingtour restaurant bietet top qualität zu normalem preis, man sitzt ganz nett am pool supermarkt und mcdonalds (die kinder lieben es) gleich in der nähe

“Proche de tous les lieux touristiques”

Hotel bien situé et bien desservi par les bus. Il faut comprendre le fonctionnement des différentes lignes de bus. Piscine en Août très appréciable et reposante par son environnement. Hotel proche de tous commerces et restaurants.Nous recommandons le restaurant le El Sarde ainsi que l'hotel

“Hôtel Dehon à Rome”

L'hôtel, agréable par aileurs et bien équipé, est médiocrement situé : le quartier est pourvu de tous les commerces mais dénué de charme et n'est relié au centre historique que par une seule ligne de bus. Les autobus sont peu fréquents, bondés et inconfortables (40 mn à attendre un bus de retour), de sorte qu'il est souvent préférable de prendre un taxi. De même, il faut absolument pour les trajets vers ou depuis l'aéroport emprunter la navette de l'hôtel et éviter d'utiliser les transports en commun et notamment le métro.
