“A Welcoming Stay!”

Although we were in town for a family funeral, this hotel provided us with a comfortable stay. The staff was courteous and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. Having a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in our room was a plus. The location was very convenient for our needs. Although the on-location restaurant was only open for dinner and late night, there were several other restaurants within a block of the hotel. The hotel did provide the typical continental breakfast but we were not impressed. A microwave should have been provided guest use. We would definitely stay here again should the need arise.

“Still Nice Even Though It's Not Holiday Inn Anymore...”

Very nice. courteous staff. very clean room. friendly and helpful desk clerk. NO noisy knocking on the door by housekeeping too early. Overall very happy with stay and will be making this my regular stay spot when I go home to visit.

“Rock Falls”

The hotel was nice but the bar inside the hotel was boring, no music or night action. The town was quite boring as well.

“Nice Hotel”

Kids loved the pool, close to food and shopping (wal mart). Restaurant/bar attached if that's your thing. Kind of had a funky smell, but I think it was due to renovations..overall nice hotel to stay at. We stayed three nights and were totally satisfied. Awesome price from Expedia too :)

“Okay for the price -”

Next door to a Walmart and Culvers. This hotel was built in the 70's and is showing it's age. Rooms were OK for the price, but small. Parking lot is in disrepair. Skip the breakfast. A few choices near by. Head north for Culver's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Subway, McDonalds and my favorite - Arthur's Deli for lunch.

“Will go back.again”

This is our 3rd time there. We found that the front desk was in need of communication therapy. Upon check in, the only thing the desk clerk told us was what our room number was. Never said anything about pool hours or the continental breakfast. If you don't want to converse with your customers, don't be in a front desk position. He probably didn't want to tell us about the continental breakfast because it was ridiculous. Presentation was awful. Muffins, bread, bagels were all in the plastic bags. Very little fruit or oatmeal. I think they counted out quantities and you were out of luck if you didn't get there is the first 15 minutes because items weren't replenished. Might I say that the restaurant across the street has a good breakfast! Room was fine BUT I think they need to hire someone that will actually converse with their customers!! We will go back but hope there are new people at the front desk.

“Bad choice”

We were quite disappointed in the overall quality of the facility. The restaurant and bar were not what we expected from the photographs on the website, the pool had been drained, the carpets and furnishings were shabby. We were supposed to stay two nights, but we checked out after just one.
