“Will definitely be back!”

I am often discouraged by the number of negative reviews the service industry receives which is why I was compelled to write a review for the Marriot Hotel in Rochester near the Mayo Clinic. The staff went above and beyond our expectations offering to move our room because they saw we had an infant with us at check-in and there was a live band playing in the plaza. They also were able to recommend without hesitation a great place for dinner and offered us water bottles upon checkout. The front staff, bar staff, bellman and valet all provided excellent service. With an ailing brother in law who has had a kidney transplant at Mayo and continues to require treatment there, we will definitely be back for another stay and will not hesitate to recommend this fine hotel to our relatives. The only downside was some construction being done to the face of hotel which made driving into the valet section a bit tedious. All in all an excellent experience. Thank you to the Marriott Rochester staff for making our first hotel stay with an infant a great experience.

“Marriott Rochester”

Excellent service. Probably the best service I have ever received at a hotel! The rooms were very comfortable. Any request was immediately taken care of . The bellman made sure I had ice in the room upon check in.

“Marriott in Rochester, MN”

Excellent facility. If you have business in Rochester this is the place to stay. I have stayed at several hotels in the city and this is the best.

“Not impressed”

Reasonable sizes of rooms, but small bathroom. Bad location of aircondition near the window, too warm in hot weather. Not many satellite channels in nthe TV?? for the cost paid is expensive and does not desrves the cost.

“Easy access to Mayo Clinic”

The hotel was a little less than I expected given the price, however it was easy to get to the Mayo Clinic.

I took my wife for an evaluation at Mayo Clinic, and the hotel was perfect in terms of comfort, service, and proximity to the clinic.
