“Reasonable mid-priced hotel.”

This is a nice hotel, set in lovely grounds, close to the motorway. The room was fine, nothing stunning, but functional and clean enough. The staff seemed a little inexperienced but not unpleasant. It's a reasonable mid-priced hotel which I would probably stay at again.

“Nettes 3,5 Sterne Haus weit außerhalb Manchesters”

Mercure Norton Grange Rochdale liegt ein halbe Autostunde vom Flughafen entfernt in ländlicher Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und durchschnittlich ausgestattet. Klimaanlage gibt es nicht und manchmal hört man die Autobahngeräusche.Toll ist das große Schwimmbad und es gibt auch einen Saunabereich, den wir nicht genutzt haben.Das Frühstück ist okay , wobei man schon mit einem frisch gebrühten Kaffee gerechnet hatte. Mit dem Service sollte man Geduld haben, irgendwie klappt es dann schon. Wenn man ein Auto hat und nicht direkt nach Manchester will , ist das Hotel zu empfehlen.

Area recommendations
Rundherum gibt es viele Wandermöglichkeiten und wer weiter weg will , kann ja mal in den Peak District fahren. Ca. 30 Minuten und man ist auf menschleeren Straßen.
When to go
Ab April blühen die Narzissen , ab Mitte Mai ist es auch mal warm und der Herbst ist bis Ende Oktober schön.
Shopping
Trafford Centre ( auf dem östlichen Ring) bedeutet hunderte Geschäfte, Departmentstores und Restaurants in Las Vergasartiger Plüschigkeit. Michael Jackson hätte seine Freude gehabt !!!
