The property was not what I remembered yeeeears ago. When it was I guess at its prime it was so clean and kept up. Rooms need an upgrade. Furniture worn down, wallpaper peeling off the walls; holes in walls various places; hotel room sink was so far back I had to stand on my toes to brush my teeth, hotel lobby check in is not inviting. Nice staff they need a nicer place to work. Clean those slot machines!! Also don’t stay on the 2nd floor you hear EVERYTHING FROM THE FIRST FLOOR. lol I’m done! Out of all the casinos I visited Horseshoe is def the best one to stay and play! More lively and inviting.

The room was not cleaned very well. Surfaces had crumbs, drink circles, and grime. It looked like the floor behind the bathroom door was never cleaned. The bed cover had black grease spots near the bottom. The hallways were very noisy all hours of the night. Its a Casino but the noise was very loud in the room.

The casino was nice and was a great time. Updates machines, live music, and restaurants on site. Staff was friendly. The hotel left a bit to be desired though. You can definitely tell it’s not attended to as well as the casino area. Several auto sliding doors entering the bldg were not in working order, dingy carpets in the hall, and a la j of attention to detail in the rooms (dust, misaligned wallpaper ect).didn’t ruin the stay. You can tell the area is just trying to make it, as so many stores, hotels, and even other casinos have already closed.

The casino was nice, but the restaurants had nothing but water to drink. The staff was nice, but the room was terrible. The tub was dirty, the toilet had so many streaks, the couch looked as if someone allowed their pets to just run all on, so many hairs. And it looked as if someone just put ashes all over the couch. There were black stains on two of the pillows. By the time I finished at the casino, I was too tired to deal with all that. I will never stay at that casino, and really hate I spent my money.

My room was dark, not nearly enough lighting. The room smelled. More attention to cleaning is needed. Hallway carpets needs to be cleaned. Most of the staff we encountered helpful. Ushers at Bluesville were professional and helpful.

Definitely will not be coming back here. I recommend the Hollywood. Dont get me wrong the place is nice and big but the staff is rude and no help at all. I received a smile and greeting of "have a good time" from one employee which came from the janitor. I showed up early and was there for about an hour by the time i decided i had enough and tried to cancel my reservation so that i could book a room with the hollywood instead but they refused to give me a refund, which i understand they have a no refund policy but considering that i showed up 10 hours early and didnt receive the least bit of respect or courtesy, i feel it was the least they could do. Idk if they are like that with everyone but that was my experience.

Hotel interior is outdated, dirty and needs redecorating. The rooms are not clean, it was very clear that the bathroom was not properly cleaned, the toilets was soiled, the tub and sink were dirty. They have no real accommodations. The only saving grace was the bed. They charge you for everything. I had to pay to use a microwave in my room. They had no tea bags or coffee maker but gave you coffee cups. No garbage liners in the trash cans or ice bucket. The floor was disgusting and grimy. This place was truly a disappointment especially for the price we paid. I will never stay in this hotel again ever! The staff however they were polite but if I were them I'd be embarrassed to inform guests of no microwave and having to pay for it to use it. Then they charged Resort fees when they brought the rented microwave to the room. If I could give them no stars I would. Total total disappointment!
