“Great location and clean”
This hotel is simple, super clean and the location is just fantastic. It has been the third time I stay here and I may say it is a simple yet clean and super friendly hotel. It is the perfect hotel if you plan to do several activities during your day. They provide a towel pass for 'Mamitas' (the closest beach) and the rooms have great space. the bed is not the most comfortable but overall I believe it is a great option for the price. I would recommend and will be back again! Location is fantastic, you will be super close to all main restaurant's and your are a block away from the 5th Ave, so you are close to all attractions buy away from the noise. Excellent option.
“May28-June5-2011”
We have stayed at this location multiple times, at different times of the year and we have never been disappointed. If you are looking for all-inclusive at twice the rate, consider a larger outfit. If you are comfortable choosing your own dining arrangements either on Concierge recommendation or just from exploring 5th Avenue, you won't be unhappy. Breakfast is very reasonable at this hotel averaging less than local restaurants. They have a happy hour of which we did not partake because we spend most of the time on the beach at their primary Beach Club called Mamita's. Ask about alternative beach clubs based on your preferences. Mamita's food and drinks can be expensive. If you have specific food requirements such as vegetarian, make your requests known. Most places will accommodate you even if not directly on their menu. Hacienda Paradise now has room service, too. Adventuresome? Inquire about their other hotels in the area and their amenities. We explored a newly acquired hotel in Holbox (pronounced Holbosh) that was very nice as part of another excursion. We can't say enough about the staff! These folks are professional care givers every step of the way. Chef Jorge R. and his staff are wonderful and the Concierge Jorge made all our arrangements without missing a beat. Front desk personnel will become your best friends and the Hotel crew members work non-stop to please you. We've been to many locations in Mexico; this is by far our favorite place to stay!
“still nice but getting noisy”
afyter my third visit i can say that the hotel is still well kept and semi boutique style is nice. staff is friendly and rooms are clean and location is A+ however the hotel that was completed last year and is adjacent to them is a little noisy for me and the noise can be heard through the walls late night.. actually i only had a noise problem on the weekend but it was enough. other than that i would still recomend it.
“Best in class”
The Hacienda Paradise is tops in the type of hotel that it is. This is a comfortable property that is clean and the staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
“Hacienda Paradise Boutique Hotel - excellent value for money”
Staff is excellent, considerate, helpful, and attentive. Room had great king sized bed, balcony, and good sized fridge. Decorative towel arrangements on bed every time we returned from day out – often times flower petals which my wife enjoyed. Delivered ice promptly whenever we requested. Free beach towels every day - Partnership with Wickys (beachside resort a few blocks away) wherein we got 10% of the bill for whatever drinks or food we ordered when using their beach chairs and umbrellas.
“Convenience and cleanliness”
So close to everything! Nice clean room, bathroom was super hot (vented to outside), shower had little pressure and bring your own toiletries. I had bad hair the whole time due to both of these issues (not that it really mattered, I was at the beach most of the time). Really the best thing was the location, so easy to get everywhere yet not noisy or overrun. Right down the block from Yaxche, a must eat place!
“Nice and small”
Very nice small hotel w/34 rooms. The grounds were well maintained. The air conditioning could have been better. The room was a little warm and you could not adjust the thermostat.
“No frills boutique hotel, but great”
- When booking, request a room on Calles 22 OR something on the bottom floor of Av 10. I had requested this and unfortunately when we first arrived we were placed in a room on the second floor facing Av 10. The noise from cars driving past is very distracting and echoes into the room. - We asked the front desk to move us to a different room (citing the fact that I had emailed ahead of time and was told at the time that we were going to be on the first floor, on calles 22) and they were extremely accommodating and had us in a new room the next afternoon. What impressed me the most: we had forgotten our toiletries in the shower when gathering up our stuff for them to move while we went out to the beach, but they did not...they had them in the shower for us in the new room...AND they remembered to take the beer we had in the fridge and move that as well. :-) - If you're used to a little bit of walking, the location is not an issue at all; I actually preferred being on Av 10 versus Av 5 or on the beach. It's a short walk (5 blocks or so) to the Matimas beach club. The beach club was a great luxury, but I'd advise you to get there before 9:30 am. - Never bothered with the hotel pool; the area is quite shaded and since the temp never got above 82, it was a little on the cold side. If you're looking for a hotel with a nice hotel bar/restaurant/pool/several amenities...this place isn't for you. Definitely think of it as a boutique hotel.
“"Great Choice in Playa"”
My husband and I recently returned from a great week at the Hacienda Paradise in Playa. The hotel is small and friendly, very clean, quiet and a great buy. Our room was on the garden level and we could sit out on our small terrace or on lounge chairs by the pool. The complimentary breakfast had many choices and was served until 10:45 AM. The neighborhood was great - just a short walk to the beach or 5th Ave with a choice of great places to eat, drink or both. We used the concierge service to book a tour and also the Karma Tour site for transport to and from the hotel. Our driver was waiting outside the terminal with name card readily visible. We hope to return next year for a longer stay!
“Great Hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, huge breakfast, 2 blocks away from the beach.”
