“Definately coming back”
Amazing. Everything was perfect
“The resort was extremely clean and had everything you could want or need on site.”
Go here it was awesome.
“Dream Honeymoon at Grand Palladium near "the Place of Turtles"”
When we arrived to Palladium White Sands in late July 2010 for our honeymoon, we were relieved that it was even more beautiful than we expected. They offered us a cocktail while we filled out the minimal paperwork and got our room and towel cards. The staff are all very pleasant -- even those who don't have the nicest jobs. They always stop, smile and say "hola!" The junior suite we stayed in was lovely, clean, modern, comfortable. Food and service was very very good. Not absolutely perfect, but if there was anything you didn't like, they were very happy to fix it for you. I think the only issue we had in our week was the wrong vegetable side served to my wife one night. The facility is absolutely beautiful! There's plenty of space to relax, find quiet, or fun. There was no competition for shade, or towels, or anything like that. Even with 90%+ rooms filled, it seemed only 40% booked. Again, a lovely surprise. We loved the expansiveness of the resort. We actually stayed in the Riviera section right near the South end of their beach property, but it was no problem at all to head to the North end to the slightly older (doesn't look older) Colonial pool and lobby, or the spa. We would absolutely return for another stay (hopefully LONGER!), and would ask to again be in the newer section (Riviera or White Sands), not because the buildings are necessarily better, but that side of the resort is surrounded by a man-made lake, and has lovely walking paths through the mangroves.
“couldnt ask for better”
the hotel was amazing, and luxurious, food great. this was one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in. the only thing is they seemed to be short of towels and the bus to the main building needs to be more frequent.
“can't wait to go back”
The resort is kept very clean and the service is friendly
“Not impressed”
Very large hotel 4 hotels in 1 complex with no service. No pool service, no beach service and difficult to find breakfast. There were 1-2 hour wait for dinner with no reservations available. No pool side or drink service. Small area for food and drinks at the beach that were always full, minimal seating and no service if you did not have a table. Beach bar and grill was out of chips 3 days in a row, and many menu items were out, like chicken, wings, fajitas, etc. So many better options to get your money's worth.
“Paradise Awaits”
Grand Palladium White Sand Resort was recommended by friends and they were right about everything. We wanted a place for R&R, however we were able to do it all (i.e. snorkeling, swimming, dancing, saw some nice shows and went to see the Maya ruins). In other words you did not to have to leave the hotel in order to enjoy yourself. The place was clean, the service was on the money, and the staff was very helpful. Go, you will not be disappointed. I want to go back!
“Great Trip! Jan 2010”
A group of 12 of us stayed at the White sands resort Jan 15-29. Fantastic Hotel!!! Food was excellent. We went to 7 out of 8 a la carte restaurants and LOVED everyone except the ribs and more. We didn't get a chance to go to the steak house just do to time. The resort is HUGE. Lots of walking. If you have elderly people or kids needing strollers, I would reccomend staying in the Colonial side. (Less stairs and easier access to the restaurants). The pool and beach area @ WS is WAY less busy compared to Colonial. Rooms were VERY tidy and clean and the bathrooms are amazing- Huge showers and tubs all tiles. I would either stay at WS or Colonial if to choose from all 4 because the Royal and Kantenai are far away from everything. Grounds were beautiful, staff very friendly, and over all, I would go back
“A VACATION MUST!!”
The hotel is rated 4stars and should be a 5+. It was fabulous. The resort has 5 or 6 hotels with a trolley that travels every ten minutes or so to them. The resort is huge and can sometimes mean alot of walking from your vila to the buffet but they have small bus stops near each villa that can take you to your lobby. The beach is beautiful but during our stay the water was very rough so one of the almost 15 pools may be a better choice for smaller children. The animation staff were fun, welcoming and they always had something going on. The food was to die for, not just the buffet's but the A La Cart resturants guaranteed oustanding service with food that would cost $100 a plate. There was no sign up but there was sometimes a wait of 45min or so. All in all this hotel was almost perfect the only down side which was a big one was the front staff. The front desk staff had poor english and some of them were down right rude. The most irritating thing was their rudeness, unlike the rest of the staff some of the front desk people truly didn't care about you at all. This was easily looked over when you see the perfectly manicured grounds, fabulous food and gorgeous hotel. It was better then any where else I have stayed in mexico.
“Excellent hotel”
Seven days was not a long enough stay, we needed another week to eat the sensational food at "all" of the resorts restaurant facilities.
